The threads there are no longer 95-5 against RP like they were in 2007. Now they're running about 75-25, with a lot of RP supporters fighting the good fight there. The owner/moderator is extremely hostile to anything but the neocon party line, in case you didn't know, so 25% support must irritate him no end.

The intellectual level of the two sides of the debate is also striking. One side is full of obvious misstatements of fact, childish name-calling, and false choices presented as reality. For an example of each: on one thread I just read there, a poster claimed that Ron Paul supported the Kelo decision, and his proof was his linking to a LewRockwell.com article where Ron Paul unambiguously rails against the Kelo decision; numerous invocations of Ron Paul supporters as kooks who live in their parents' basements; and repeated references to Ron Paul's "cut-and-run" strategy, since cut-and-run and kill-em-all are obviously the only two choices in foreign policy.

The other side is full of reasoned argumentation, facts, and logic. No wonder we're winning.

can i also add unexplained-mysteries.com forums have an INSANE amount of ron paul followers compared to 4 years ago.

I remember any mention of RP would be sent to the conspiracy forums pronto. Now the admins over there cant hold back the RP flood.

AboveTopSecret.com forums too. Actually, that site is how I heard that Ron Paul was running again this year. Yeah, from that website. Not the news. Who would have thought?

Surprised he hasn't thrown you off yet. JimRob is really good at purges. I should know because I was one of the banned.

I'm not on. He does purge the rolls of all non-neocon faithful on a regular basis, however. No wonder they never learned to debate properly over there.

To be honest, it still doesn't feel like people who have come around to the idea of liberty, but people who know that he's the only one who will balance the budget and can reconcile their other differences. Still - voters are voters.

I spend a lot of my time at http://www.survivalistboards.com/ these days. Ron Paul support is very strong, with a sprinkling of neocon. People are seeing the light.

It is large. I just saw they had over 100,000 members. I figured out most large conspiracy sites are run by psyops so I don't frequent them. Not that I don't think there are conspiracies...because there sure are. And I do go to some occasionally when I want to see what the members are digging up on current topics. Many sites might be run by psyops but that doesn'tt mean the members don't dig up some damn good info and post it anyways ;).

And then people like me were banned from free republic simply for having a different point of view.

I read DemocraticUnderground because their stupid ideas amuse me. After checking out a couple Paul threads today at FR it's pretty obvious that those Neocons are even dumber than the socialists at FR. They actually think they are conservative! How sad.
