Hannity's own problem with failing to monitor what is published in his name.

Back during the 2008 campaign cycle, a moderator on Hannity's forum made some libelous statements on Hannity's own website/forum.

These include the following:


"Babies died while their monthers were under RongPaul's (sic) care. "

"Instead of staying up to date in medicine he spent his time studying economics, history and his version of the constitution. Instead of upholding his oath and providing the best care possible for his patients he was off chasing his own little dream. Ron Paul would rather learn to be a good Muslim, or learn chinese, than commit troops to a conflict or prepare this nation for a war."

"He let babies die while he learned about economics."

"He cares no more about our troops then he did about the women and children that died while he was studying economics"


Now, surely since Hannity's name is on the website and it is his property he oversees everything that goes on there, right? Or at least the actions of his delegates on the site (moderators, admins)? Given that, I'm positive he corrected this subject of his, removed his moderator status and banned him from the site for making such libelous statements about Dr. Paul. Right?

Wrong.

Instead, Hannity gave that person a promotion on his own website. The person is now the actual Admin of Hannity's forum site. Does that mean Hannity approves of these libelous statements? Should Hannity be held responsible? I'd like to see somebody ask him that.

LOL.. Paul back to pretending to be a doctor. (2008 cycle he admitted that he "practiced" medicine for many years and then took accounting / finance courses. It was at that time he learned that life began at conception.

I agree. Too many people do half the work of the opposition by trying to preempt what a troll is going to say, by saying it themselves. I hope there is no harm in it, but I can't help but think a lot of people have this troll gene. It would be like going to a job interview and saying, "Don't believe those people who are going to call me a goatfucker! I have the documents to prove its not true!".

Repeating a lie, even in the context of calling it a lie, can be harmful. Is there a way people could pledge to stop?

most of the people at hannity forums see him as an old, grumpy and hateful guy. almost nobody replies to his posts anymore, they just ignore him. he is practically foaming from the mouth today because of the new poll numbers but people have learned to ignore him, even most of the people that dont like Paul.

Not just "someone" but his moderator at the time, and who has been promoted to the actual forum administrator. He was rewarded for libeling Dr. Paul.
