Could Ron Paul win the Iowa Caucuses? (http://www.whoradio.com/cc-common/news/sections/newsarticle.html?feed=121648&article=9506521#ixzz1gSftffL4)
First poll after last Saturday's debate shows Ron Paul surge, Newt Gingrich drop

Ron Paul's star is rising in Iowa.

A new poll by Public Policy Polling taken after Saturday's GOP debate in Des Moines shows Newt Gingrich is dropping in popularity in Iowa while Ron Paul is now statistically tied with Gingrich for first place.

Unlike previous polls in Iowa, this one shows that Iowans are starting to solidify their support. 60 percent of those polled say they're sticking with their candidate, only 40 percent say they are likely to change their minds.

Here's the poll rankings overall:

o Newt Gingrich 22%
o Ron Paul 21%
o Mitt Romney 16%
o Michele Bachmann 11%
o Rick Perry 9%
o Rick Santorum 8%
o Jon Huntsman 5%
o Gary Johnson 1%

Drake University political science professor Dennis Goldford says the poll shows that the top tier is now clearly Paul and Gingrich.

The poll also shows the caucuses may literally be a battle of the ages. Gingrich supporters are the caucus veterans, while Paul gets his support from young people and first-time caucus-goers.

What a wonderful man. What a wonderful university. Can they ever hold a debate? And a straw poll? And now this?

could you trim your quote please, though? We want to reward with clicks those who carry good news.
