The Energy Independence and Security Act that bans these bulbs was signed into law by a Republican president and passed with the votes of ninety-five Republicans...

I don't know if the pun was intentional, but I really liked the "Will Republicans ever see the light?" comment. :)

What about my 600 and 1000 watt lights I use to grow cannabis indoors :confused:

It only applies to incandescent lights as far as I know. I don't think HID lighting is affected.
