Online polls are often given no credence due to the proclamation that such results are only the act of a few tech savvy fans. This is why I believe it is time for Ron Paul supporters to have large scale public meetings not only in states like Iowa. A nationwide day of gatherings would force the media to pay attention.
If this plan is to go forward, we will first have to test the waters and see if we do meet, how many can pledge to a date. We can advertise on all relevant websites we are members of and coordinate with the existing meet up groups as well posting and distributing fliers at our respective college campuses. Facebook pages and possibly independent sites would be valuable.
If groups like the tea party and OWS can put together large scale gatherings, I see no reason why we couldn't.
This is not a plan for an immediate day, bu hopefully before we are well into the primaries.
