Is the Daily Iowan a "mainstream" local newspaper or is it the local John Birch periodical? It's a valid question for those not from the local area.

It's the University of Iowa paper -- circulation around 20K daily, serving UI and Iowa City.

At the top it says it's the school newspaper for the University of Iowa.

Paper endorsements nationally are meaningless these days. But are local endorsements meaningful on a state by state basis? Might have a small marginal effect at the most. Good news nonetheless. I will take it over that actor who just endorsed NWO flip flopping Newt.
