Not sure...depends on their outreach, however, i wouldn't say it's small either. Any endorsement like this is always a big positive.

What i am very interested in knowing right now is this:

Nashua Telegraph
Des Moines Register

Does anyone know if these two have endorsed anyone yet? I don't think DMR has , but not sure what the NT has done. His interviews with both of them went really nicely and seemed well received. One of those two would definitely be a big hit.

Yea...that worries me a bit. If they are too caught up with wanting to play xbox, smoke doobage, and get laid, while wanting to spend time with family during xmas break, that is gonna be a problem for us. This a crucial time and their vote is large chunk in IA. If the weather is bad, and a huge portion of this demographic votes, well we are in good shape.

HA!! Awesoooooome!!!!

If you look at the print edition of the paper that they have posted online, you will see on the 2nd page of the paper our ad for Ron Paul and RonPaulCountry.com that I placed in this paper for 10 consecutive business days with the help of the good folks of this Forum! :-)

This paper is the heavyweight in the area. It reaches the Iowa City metro area of about 70,000 people, not even to mention the home to the University of Iowa.

Wonderful.

While I am 30 years old today, it was only about 7 years ago when LOTS of my friends attended the U of Iowa and at the time, it seemed a majority of students would read the paper. It's well circulated in the dorms and all the homes where students live. It has a lot of school oriented news. I don't know if times have changed a lot but back then it seemed like lots of people read it so this should spread around the campus and the students well enough. I can't predict tho if an endorsement means the student body will follow suit but it should help sway any undecided folk.

Despite the media blackout...I have decided to email major news outlets and give them a link to the endorsement. If they can report on other endorsements for candidates, why not this too.

Last time around, it was on December 16, which was the Sunday two weeks before the Caucus. For that reason I would expect their endorsement to possibly come out this Sunday. I have no clue who they're gonna endorse this time though (endorsed McCain last time).

If they were smart they would endorse the only candidate who actually seems to care about Iowans...Paul.

Well, they'd have a hard time endorsing Huntsman who has entirely dissed the state, but if they are looking for liberals, I guess I'd have to expect Romney. But Ron is awfully consistent. Maybe they could give him a 'we can't agree with everything but...' kind of write up. Oh well.

Can always hope. They have to weigh what they want against what the people of Iowa want. Since Ron, right now, has the best chance of winning Iowa, who knows. Last time they endorsed the guy who had no chance of winning Iowa, but was looking good for the nomination at the time.

I say it goes to Newt or Ron.

What are we doing to get those college students after they go on break?

There should be some sort of event on the ground in Des Moines.
