Don't get your hopes up. George is as left wing as they come. He hates the corporations, but that's as far as it goes in agreeing with Ron.

George Carlin never proposes anything, he just bashes everything so it's hard to know what his politics are. He could be a libertarian without even knowing it

It's not so much left-wing as left-libertarian, I think. I read an interview he did (I think it was with The Onion) and he talked about how he jokes about the militia types, but he actually agrees with them on a lot, it's just that he's not really a believer in private property.

Plus he doesn't vote. Not a fan of democracy.

I've come across that kind of political opinion before and it really confuses me. How can someone be for liberty but against private property? Liberty is meaningless without personal ownership.

Carlin is in love with Olbermann likewise Olbermann is in love with himself.

Lmao, the Onion?!?! You do realize that's a 100 pct. spoof news site right? Nothing they say is to be taken as real even when it is somewhat believable.

I am a carlin fan, and I was suprised to read in Napalm and Silly Puddy that he bashes libertarians. I think he said something like

" libertarians think they have a different answer, but they are all apart of the same bullshit."

He also does not vote, therefore its not his fault.

Great comedian though, funny guy. at his recent show, he called the Bill of Rights, the Bill of Temporary privileges.

Carlin should support Paul on the legalizing drugs issue alone!

I believe left-wing libertarians believe in life and liberty, but not on property.
Gandhi, Mandela and Dalai Lama are left wing libertarians.

It's actually nonsensical. You use your body (property) to argue the invalidity of property. You contradict yourself as soon as you open your mouth.

But how can you have true liberty if you cannot personally profit from your own labor?

When you can't keep the fruit of your labor, that's called slavery.

Well, in Penn Jillette's latest interview by Glenn Beck, he said that he(Penn) and George seemed to think the same way about alot of views. He stated something about when the 9/11 attacks occurred, both of them within an hour stated something about "there go our civil liberties". Penn said the one thing they disagree on is the outlook of the country. Carlin things we're at the tip of going down the drain. Penn thinks things are about to take a turn for the better. I hope Penn is right :( I wouild say Penn is more likely to lean to Ron Paul, but I'm not aware of him stating any position what so ever and I doubt he would. He, like Carlin, both like to be thought of as independent thinkers.... I think.

I bet Carlin believes in private property. Just head over to HIS house and try to barge in. Tell him you have a right to be there since private property is illegitimate. I GUARANTEE he will not agree.

That would be true communism, as in a commune. Not to be confused with socialism, which is what the USSR was...not communist, that was just the party name.

George Carlin believes in private property because he takes money for his services. If he denies this he is a hypocrite. Money is property.
