View Full Version : What would be your reaction if Ron Paul won the Presidency?

What would your reaction be if Ron Paul won the presidency? What do you think Ron Paul's reaction would be if he won?

Personally, I think a bunch of people would be crying.

I have NO idea how RP himself would react, but he may be pondering it lately.

I'd probably cry, and then be very very happy, and breathe a huge sigh of relief, thinking: it's over. We did it. Then get back to work on getting congress to pass his Restore America Plan and beyond. The work doesn't end at the White House, the American people have to stand up and not get lazy again.

I'm fairly certain I'd lose my voice from yelling "RON PAUL!!" and "YEAH BABY!!!" every 10.7 seconds.
Once I lost my voice, then I'd probably cry tears of joy and relief.

I'd have a real sense of optimism, but our next battle would be in the 2014 elections, and we have a lot of inroads left to make before political philosophy really changes course in this country. The fight is unlikely to be over in any of our lifetimes.

Paul's reaction would probably be bewilderment. There'd be a huge shakeup in the executive branch. Everyone would get fired :) I'd love it.

I think I'd get shitfaced on that night. I don't usually drink much.

Remember, there are no political saviors. The den of thieves and globalists will not bend over and take constitutional government. Yes, a Paul presidency would greatly stifle their evil plans, but it's up to us to change this country.

Would be my sincere hope that he moves quickly and decisively to engage the enemy. He has to clean house in the CIA, Justice Dept., and the military even before day 1. Else everything is in great jeopardy. I would get his Attorney General quietly hammering on the 9-11 issue from day 1, making indictments and pressuring people people to talk with immunity deals, etc. Exposure and prosecution of past crimes against the American people should be a signature of a Paul administration. Dr. Paul may only have 4 years to show the American people what has transpired while they were sleeping. Else power will return to the globalists.

Believe me I have already warned my wife, mom & coworkers that if Ron gets in office I will both be in tears and jumping and screaming for joy. ALL of which are uncharacteristic of me. It would mean a nation coming to repentance, which is the equivalent of your loved one repenting and returning home. The prodigal son comes to mind.

tears of joy. real hope in the white house. then pressuring my congressman to vote for ron paul's different plans. the work doesnt end at the election. alot of socialism and globalism to fight against. not to mention they might make an attempt on his life. the elite dont play.

Intense terror, followed by a rush of thoughts of how to act to improve the country's oft-cited statistics to help ensure Ron Paul isn't a one-term president, nor the last truly conservative president the country ever has in my lifetime.

My reaction would be.. Alrighty!! Game on!!

I'd love to see Ron pushing his policy changes through as President and people show him the respect he deserves. The troop withdrawals, dealing with the FED and all the potential good he could do in the ill conceived drug war, would be massive.

Day 1: I'd be happy, rejoicing, and so glad that America elected an honest, constitutional, God fearing, loyal to his wife, and a man with real integrity as president.

Day 2: I'd spend almost every last dime I had on food storage, land, silver, livestock, and have food & ammunition stacked from floor to ceiling in my home. Also I'd go to home depot and buy super secure deadbolts, security tint for my windows, and extra wood & construction materials. This is because I believe if Ron is elected -

the bankers will crash the economy and blame it on him with his honest freedom loving and sound money message and constitutional philosophy.

Again my opinion. It's so obvious the bankers are in charge of this country along with corporate America with all the blackouts. None of us deny the blackouts and it proves conspiracy exists. I think they'll blame it on Ron Paul.

I do support a free market. I do support it in the way Ron Paul & the founders philosophy is....

We don't live in the free market that many people believe we do. All it would take is the green light given to the UAE to take the dollar off the price of oil and you'll see a global treasury panic and a dump on the dollar. Next thing you know you have saved a ton of paper. All blamed on Paul's philosophy of sound money & Austrian economics.

I'll state I hope that it won't happen, but just stating what I'll do because I believe these bankers will want power over the USA no matter what, and the only way to do that is to bring America and Ron's constitutional form of money to its knees. The people may hate him when they are sucking down bullion water. Remember, there is conspiracy against Ron Paul now - blackouts - because they need their power. My opinion.

It would be the happiest day of my life (and that's saying a lot, since I'll be almost 60 by then). Since my heart might explode, I better not make any plans beyond that day, but if I survive the burst of pure joy, I will be packing my warmest clothes for a hitch-hike to watch the inauguration. Then if I survive the explosion of happiness resulting from that experience, I will probably sleep for 3-4 days non-stop. Then when I wake up I'll have a hard time believing what just happened, and cry my eyes out for several days. Then I will live in dread that he gets assassinated. If that happens, I will probably hitch-hike back to Washington DC packing a Tokarev pistol (and plenty of the body-armoring-piercing ammo that goes with it) and a Mosin-Nagant sniper rifle.

Three things I will expect work on immediately...

1. The carriers are sent out to begin packing up the troops

2. Executive Orders are voided.

3. Bills are vetoed. I can't even think of a bill that could get to Paul's desk that he would sign? What realistically would come his way that he could sign given how shitty the congress and senate is? 1,000 page bills include too much of everything bad. He would need to send a message that if you want him to sign anything, the bills need to be small and focus on only one thing at a time.

I would definitely cry. One more giant step towards a free society. Then I would probably get upset since there would be so much left to be done just to get down to a constitutional government and then the final massive paradigm shift necessary for voluntaryism for this region and the rest of the world.

I would cry tears of joy. Boy, that would be the best day of my life. Then I would invite all friends and family members to my house for a night of celebration. Then I would enjoy some whiskey, and then shed some more tears of joy. After that, I would take one week off work and just sleep in order to recover from a year's phonebanking and canvassing.

I too would cry tears of joy for Dr Paul. He has slogged a long and lonely road and it would set ablaze the cockles of my heart to see him get his just dues. I would reflect on this forum and the reach it had over the few years and the amazing dedication of so many here. The times I would get pissed or laugh my ass off and spend all day refreshing RPF instead of working. The sheer volume of learning material. All inspired by a humble baby doctor from rural Texas. And ya know. Rick and Mitt might actually shed a tear of joy as well. I think they honestly like Ron Paul. If Mitt is half the businessman he claims he knows who the best CEO for the country is. Rick can be proud his state is the home of the current POTUS.
