I'm developing a web-based game called Dungeoneers, and we're ready to begin public testing. To both attract players and support Dr. Paul, we've come up with the "Slay a Dragon for Ron Paul" campaign. Whenever a player kills a dragon, I will personally contribute $5 to the Super Brochure campaign (once per player). I've got $25,000 set aside for this.

The game is free to play because it's still in development.

To Slay a Dragon for Ron Paul, go here:
www.dungeoneers.com/ronpaul

You can check the status of the campaign from our site. There will be a list of successful Dragon Slayers for Dr. Paul, as well as a link to the Super Brochure page that shows the contributions I've made. You can find my contributions under "Alex B."

Someone just did a video of the game, which is great (although it doesn't show the use of the magic scrolls!)
http://youtu.be/e1u1IbbLCTE

If you like the game or at least support raising money for Dr. Paul in this manner, please spread the word. Time is of the essence so we can get as many dragon slayers as quickly as possible so that I can get a big contribution in this weekend in time for the Iowa mailing deadline of Super Brochures.

There are social media links on top of our page:
www.dungeoneers.com/ronpaul

and there is a Reddit post here:
http://redd.it/n6tz2

Feel free to use this forum to discuss the game and the campaign. But if you have technical support issues or bug reports, please email support<at>dungeoneers.com.

Thank you, and good luck against those dragons!

not to be a jerk but why not just donate $5,000 to the campaign already or on the 16th and then use the other $20,000 to help fund RevolutionPAC and/or other projects?

He might already be maxed out and this is a good way for him to test and promote his game. It's a win-win for him and Ron Paul's campaign.

In recognition of your valiant slaying of a dragon, the creator of Dungeoneers would like to contribute $5 to the Super Brochure campaign supporting Ron Paul for President. If you are okay with that, please click on the confirmation link in the email that we just sent to kjgkj@kjh.com.

Yes, I've already contributed several thousand dollars personally, which is what I could. To contribute more, I am reaching into what I had allocated to market my game. With this approach, I can support Dr. Paul while not abandoning Dungeoneers - which I have been working on for many years and is my livelihood.

However, I didn't mention it in the post, but because of the urgency for the Iowa mailing, for every new dragon slayer this weekend, I am going to pre-pay the next one. That way I can front-load this weekend's contribution.

For those wondering....I did find that he is telling the truth about being maxed out on donations. In fact you are $76.00 over your max Alex.

Another Dragon Slain for Ron Paul!
You have slain a dragon for liberty, truth, prosperity, and peace. A noble quest indeed.

We will gladly add another $5.00 towards the Super Brochure campaign and put your screen name on the list of Dungeoneers for Ron Paul.

Pretty fun game, good luck with the release!

Saw this on DailyPaul the other day but just tried and and slayed the dragon. It spent about 25 minutes but that's only b/c I took my time fighting monsters and collected items that I didn't need to. Would take 10 to 15 minutes otherwise. Even if you're not a gamer and have no gaming reflexes, it's not hard to do - just point and click - the success of an attack is determined by a random number (based on what items you have and the enemy statistics).

The $76.00 would be returned to the donor if Ron does not win the primary. If he does, that $76.00 goes toward the general, and in fact, the donor could contribute an additional $2,427 to the campaign.

The money goes to REVPAC, the super PAC w/o no official ties to the campaign so there are no donation limits.
