I was this kid. My art was marvel comics. I knew everything they taught me..almost. I hated school. I used to skip it and go to the library where I could study what I wanted freely. I was considered a "troublemaker" because of this and that I could pass exams without attending classes. I have a much broader swath of knowledge because of this approach than most I meet. Every profession I have been in I have been self taught.

I was this kid. Was not talented like him(in the arts, that is), but my daughter is.

It's so cool, we are having a mass awakening now. This video gives me hope that what we want for our lives just might be realized before I die.

This kid should take more english classes. I don't have time to watch this 18 minute borefest... I hated school. Totally didn't fit in, but still had a ton of creative outlets. If you are a motivated enough person you can find like minded folks that can help nurture and explore your creative side. Don't ask a government school to do it.
