I just thought of the question.

It seems possible. He gave some decent lip-service to limited government at times, and had the 'humble' foreign policy against nation-building....was that good enough for Dr. Paul at the time? Was he hesitant, but supportive, or did he see through it?

Doesn't change my mind about him either way, but I'd love to ask him.

I think he did vote for him in 2000, but not in 2004.

He said in this one YouTube video I watched that he didn't in 2004 or 2000 I believe.

Being a Texas citizen and noticing all the donations from the military industrial complex, I'm sure RP saw the strings that hold W's head up.
