Erickson has been somewhat friendly as of late. He also doesn't like Newt. Hopefully he lets Rand bash Newt for an extended period of time.

Uhm the article is overwhelmingly negative. He wants Ron Paul to win so that the GOP takes away IA first in the nation status.

Rand has it down pat and will replicate and/or beat out the Hannity folkshire of today. Rand will open up some biz for'em.

I hate reading Bullshit like the following. It angers me to no end. I could care less about pot!!!! I don't understand where this negative reputation comes from? Do we have that many assholes making spectacles of themselves at these events? It's not that I'm overly concerned what these tools think, but this same theme keeps popping up.

Yeah, its the 420 keyboard warriors gaming online polls
Common_Cents (Diary) Thursday, December 8th at 10:40AM EST (link)

I’d be shocked if he gets much turnout in Iowa.

When RP fades, most of his followers will go back to legalizing pot.

I actually like RP’s stressing getting back to stricter adherence to the constitution which almost sounds radical libertarian these days since we’ve strayed so far. BUT, RP is not an executive and could not govern.

Obama=Golfer in Chief, Leading from, behind, the Back Nine.
Leaders don’t create movements. Movements create leaders. Get involved. Your future depends on it.
Govt “invests” YOUR tax money for POLITICAL return rather than economic return.

Another short bus rider from the EE piece:

Fox news ran a article that explains why Perry War on Christmas ad matters
center77 Thursday, December 8th at 2:24PM EST (link)

And they explained how its probably going to help him. The left and Obama have had a war on faith for a long time. We need a leader willing to stand up for faith. Its one of the things that led me to support Perry to the level I do. I’m afraid if Ron Paul wins Iowa then some will see it as a sign to also support him. Paul is dangerous in many ways. First being his foriegn policy would weaken us globally on two fronts. Military and economics. Being a global economic power means we have certain obligations and Paul does not understand that. So I think I think he should not win Iowa.

Republic not an empire, fool. You'll find that one out the hard way.

They're liars who will talk their bullshit to the bitter end. The best thing to do is actually engage them on the issues and then they reveal themselves to be the dishonest fools that they are.

I just wrote something you would highly approve of. Broke out the sledgehammer of truth so to speak:

Ron Paul is the Future Just Like Goldwater in 1964
goldwaterlives (Diary) Thursday, December 8th at 11:49PM EST (link)

Either get on-board or get run over. There is a reason why he’s slowly erasing the left’s dominance on college campuses. So you guys can either do this the easy way or the hard way. And this is coming from a paleo-conservative who absolutely adores Russell Kirk. It’s time that the progressive scum that created the Federal Reserve, expanded the tax system and created a welfare system predicated on victim-hood gets pushed back into the dark abyss where they belong.

Ron Paul as an executive? Ron Paul Leadership?

What has this whole campaign been about but Ron Paul's leadership?

Why are we talking about the Federal Reserve?
Why are we talking about cutting spending?
Why do all the candidates talk about eliminating departments?
Ron Paul, that's why. He stepped out first and lead the way.

Who stood up first and told everyone the Emperor Gingrich had no clothes? Ron Paul and then everyone followed.
Who turned down the Trump debate Not just declining but calling out the Donald himself as a joke? Yep, Ron Paul the rest of the republicans AND the pundits followed his lead.

Folks, Ron Paul is THE leader in this campaign. He is the Alpha Male in the room.

Ron Paul is such a great leader that few people realize he's a leader. He just pushes issues by being highly intelligent, highly principled, and highly compassionate. He helps people to better themselves, without their knowledge of it. He leads by example, not words, and many people just can't wrap their brains around it.

But so what? He's already changed the course of history, whether the RedStaters like it or not.

These quotes from the Tao remind me so much of Ron

#60

Governing a large country
Is like cooking a small fish.
It is spoiled with too much poking.

#75

If taxes are too high
The people go hungry.
If government is too intrusive
The people lose their spirit.

Govern for the people's benefit.
Trust them and leave them alone.

#61

A great country is like a great man:
If he makes a mistake, he realizes it.
Realizing it, he admits it.
Admitting it, he corrects it.
He sees those who find his flaws
As his teachers.
He sees his enemy
As his shadow.

A nation centered in the Tao,
Nourishing its people,
And not meddling in the affairs of others,
Is a light to all nations of the world.

Yep, break the link. Like Trump, he's treating Iowa Republicans very disrespectfully. Talk about breaking the 11th commandment, plus putting a title like that on basically a hit piece just to drive some traffic to his site. Poor form, Erick, poor form.

The fact that Ron is doing so well in Iowa is because Iowans are real conservatives who have been given the unique opportunity to actually learn about all the candidates in depth, including Ron Paul, without media spin or blackout, and they have decided that he is the best one for the job.

In 2008, Iowa went for Huckabee. Based on this, I expected Iowans to go for Bachmann or Santorum. Remember, Bachmann won the Ames Straw Poll, and Santorum personally visited every single county in the state. That they're choosing Ron Paul gives me more faith in Republicans than I've had in a long, long time. It reminds me of something I've hoped for these last 4 years, that we all want the same things, and the only missing piece is getting Ron's and our message communicated clearly.

# 57

To be a great leader
you must learn to follow the Tao.
Stop trying to control.
Drop fixed plans and ideas
And the world will govern itself.

The more laws you have
The less virtuous people will be.
The more weapons
The less secure.
The more subsidies
The less self-reliant.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat????!!??!

This is the same megadouche that refuses to allow any pro-Paul material on his site (Red State) which features many anti-Paul articles. He is a Lincoln Worshipping Neo-Con cut from the mold of Mark Levin. He's either lying to try and save face, or he's been hit over the head with a heavy object.

Rand Paul is to be feared.

Gingrich is not from the tea party. He is not even a conservative.

He is part of the Washington establishment I was sent to fight. He has been wrong on many of the major issues of the day, and he has taken money from those who helped cause the housing crisis and create millions of foreclosures.

So the question that begs asking? Does Gingrich take the bait and go after Rand? Rand wants to be attacked frankly. He wants to engage Gingrich head-on.

After the record that was just exposed to him by Rand, how is he not losing all credibility to his listeners by continuing to push Newt? Ron will debating only one man - President Obama.
