Interesting rise. Should be reflected in national polls. Ignore Newt, please.

11/28-12/5 (10/31-11/7)

Newt Gingrich 35% (17%)
Mitt Romney 22% (21%)
Ron Paul 8% (3%)
Herman Cain 8% (27%)
Michele Bachmann 4% (4%)
Rick Perry 4% (5%)
Jon Huntsman, Jr. 2% (1%)
Rick Santorum 2% (1%)
Don't Know/No Answer 12% (16%)

I guess being 3rd in single digits is better than being in single digits and not in the top 3.

Maybe they actually polled 18-29 year olds.

And Newt was 50% in other Florida polls. Maybe this one is a bit more realistic.

That's the best Florida poll in some time (ever?).

Nate Silver calculated that we significantly underperform in Florida compared to nationally, I think it is minus 30%.

It makes sense given the older Republican demographic there that we would underperform in Florida. Even if we win Iowa and darn near win New Hampshire, we cannot expect some miracle in FL or SC, for that matter.

Hopefully we can get our average above 10% in FL before the end of December; I would be very happy with that.

Not too bad. Nice to see us going up even in Florida!

Not best ever, but close: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?306533-Quinnipiac-FL-Poll-%28w-o-Palin%29-Romney-24-Perry-14-Ron-Paul-10-Cain-9-Bachmann-7&highlight=quinnipiac Note that in that summer poll, the flavors of the month were sucking up a lot less oxygen, so this one actually might be better in that sense.

If we win Iowa and Louisiana, and do well in NH, SC, these polls will rise. National polls right now don't matter because everything changes based on the first few election

I hear Quinnipiac is the real deal. They are old as dirt and are very trusted.

Oh wow, I always consider Florida a completely hopeless throwaway state for us. This gives me a little hope we could have a respectable showing there.

You and almost everyone else on this board. Sad really. We are dominating locally. My group distributes about 1,000 bumper stickers a month at our little 20 person sign waves (200-400 a week as of late). There is a LOT of support.

MESSAGE ME if you want to attend the Pasco County, Straw Poll next week. We are going to DOMINATE it.

Wonder what will happen to Newt's people once he comes in third in Iowa and NH...

Since we already picked up some Cain supporters, what's to stop the rest coming to us (albeit a bit late) :D?
