Announced this morning on Morning Joe.

At the end of a segment with David Gregory they put up a graphic showing RP on MTP Sunday.

Joe said "Now that's the guy to look out for!"

Only if it contains a stream.

That was my reaction too. Is there anything to be gained here? Maybe the campaign knows something we don't.

If you had some big political thing to announce, Meet the Press would be the premier stage to do so...

What could they possibly have to announce? I expect the interview is to neutralize the threat he is posing. There is no way the campaign could turn down this interview though.

He'll be fine. His interview with CNN was stellar.

A few more like that and people will be thinking twice before doing a hit piece. :o

lookout for a hit piece Dr. Paul.

Anyway, it's a big audience close to caucus time so please catch some quality zzzzzz's beforehand.

It will be a hit piece, but Ron can handle it.

He was on Meet the Press recently and he did quite well. I think now that he's top tier they're going to try to destroy him ever more though. David Gregory will try to smash him

It's the morning after the debate, so it could be to help clear up his positions to those with questions.

To Meet the Press, I say, "GOOD LUCK WITH THAT."

Ron Paul is a man of consistency, honesty and PRINCIPLE.

Thanks for giving them ideas, Sofia.

If you were really wanting to help the campaign, you would have sent that to THEM.

Are you really THAAAAT naive? Don't you know our adversaries by now?

You think they needed me to come up with that stuff?

THEY HAVE ALREADY USED IT ON HIM!

Yep. BIG GUNS will definitely be brought. Was this the same weekend that Tim Russert attacked 4 years ago?

A strong performance Saturday night could mitigate some of the burnage. Or maybe not.

Another hit piece?

Because they did so well with their last hit piece?

Maybe they researched their follow up questions a bit more?

MTP is supposed to be a tough interview. As before, I certainly hope Dr. Paul eats his Wheaties before going on.

Expect rapid fire questions, most of them negative in nature, delivered in an aggressive and confrontational voice.

Did you see that Huckabee "Forum"? When it came time for Ron, they were all over him. They kissed the ass of most of the others.

Although MTP has gone down hill since the late Tim Russert died, these interviews seriously add to the credibility of the campaign.

Traditional voters watch these shows religiously on Sunday mornings. Part of the reason Newt is so well known to this day. There were a few years where you could guarantee he would be on MTP or FNS once a month.
