The colors have to stay because each diner's placemats are specific to their decor.

Here's the final proof for the ad on the NJ diner placemats to replace Rudy
s advertising space! This is so exciting. Please let me know if you have any feedback - I have to give her the final okay within the hour.

The only thing I don't like, and generally I love it, is that the six sales points are grouped into three. Why not just have a checkmark by all six of them, and no separation?

They were originally like that - but then we couldnt phrase them all in a way that made the thoughts flow smoothly.

We separated them because the first half concerned his voting record - the second half concerned his visions for the future. Its hard to put them all together with the check marks and have them sound right.

Suggestions on how to word each check would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe you can have the first three be checkmarked as is, and the second three be star-shaped bullet points. You can leave a little extra space between the checkmarked items and the star-shaped bulleted items.

Thanks for the suggestion Matt. We had seen that before. We're less than an hour away from the proof approval. If you have any specific suggestions, please do let us know so we can get the artist to draw up another example.

Note: I copied your stars, but really the dark maroon color would be better for the stars.

I also think "save social security" would be misleading, so I changed it to a check that says "has never voted to spend social security funds" - that will sit well with the older diner crowd. :)

I recommend dropping "has". So:

"never voted to spend social security funds" instead of "has never voted to spend social security funds

Does anyone have another way to phrase "restore the constitution"? The average Joe may not understand what that means.

I wonder if people think that would mean physically restore the document in WDC?

"End Unconstitutional Laws"

or

"End Unconstitutional Laws and Wars"
