I'm not usually one of those people who tends to favor alarmist and definite statements, but here's an ad I posted in another thread that I think the Paul campaign should consider.
We all know that ad Gingrich made with Pelosi. Open with an excerpt of Pelosi and Gingrich introducing themselves. Then include the line "We don't always agree on everything."
Freeze Frame as the word Really? pops up on the screen.
Cut to Pelosi being in favor of taking action on global warming.
Cut to Newt saying the same thing.
Cut to Pelosi speaking in support of the stimulus.
Cut to Newt speaking in support of the stimlus.
Do this for three or 4 issues, then have the commercial end with a shot of Pelosi and Gingrich looking at each other with affection. VO: "They may not agree on everything, but they agree on far too much."
Anyone think this is a good idea? I think it would destroy Newt.
