The NRA just called me to solicit some money.

I told them that unless they endorse Ron, they will never get any more money from me.

PA has a lot of 2nd amendment voters and the campaign should run some radio spots here.

The only thing we get is the Rush, Hannity, and Beck viewpoint ALL day long.

These 3 shows would be a good place to get a few 60 second spots to the masses.
Maybe help in the national polls.

It's my first post so be nice. :)

Good work!

I understand why people are members of the NRA. They are the big dog in gun lobbying. However, they have a disturbing record on key issues. I personally think that the NRA is controlled-opposition.

With that said, the NRA blows. The GOA is where the 2nd Amendment is defended without compromise. The dues are cheap too.

NRA is a trojan horse. I cancelled my membership years ago.

Welcome Scott! Be sure to check out the GOA. Much better than the co-opted NRA.

The NRA is a perfect example of what happens to a lobbying group when they get to Washington. The lobbyists get politicized and completely outlive their usefullness.

Welcome. GOA>NRA.

Unfortunately, the airwaves are owned by corporate/government interest. You have only to listen to those pundits for government control that you mentioned to understand it. And you do see them for who/what they are.

Thank you.

Well done Scott in Pa. Welcome.

I agree with the others here who understand that the NRA has become compromised. I, too, have heard/read that the GOA is the better place to commit your support.

They're making a difference in reclaiming the RTKBA. SAF deserves our support.

Good for you.

I've been an NRA member for years (not anymore) and have given them multiple donations.

After they attacked Justin Amash recently, that sealed me never giving them another penny.

GOA (http://gunowners.org/) seems to be more on my wavelength.

Same thing here after openly not supporting Rand Paul's recent amendments to a bill to protect gun owners.
I'll never send them another dime. +1 for GOA.

I actually have an old GOA newsletter with a section in it dedicated to thanking Ron and his stance on the second amendment.
