It's better but just switched it off as was still missing about every 5th word as opposed to about half of the audio at the beginning.

That's weird do you usually have problems playing webcasts or flash video? I have like 40+ browser tabs open on 3 different browsers and running a bunch of programs running in the background and the audio is pretty clear. Normally people would have problem with video before audio when it comes to streaming media on the net.

Can you mention the grassroots funded campaign office in the Iowa City area?

Ron Paul supporters have secured a Grassroots Headquarters office in Coralville Iowa. The office is 410 1st Ave, Coralville. Same strip mall area as Bruegers Bagels. We'd like to move in by Sunday and we have it through Jan 5th. It is 1800 square feet and there is some furniture, it's very beautiful and modern-huge glass front for Ron Paul signs. We will be phone banking from approx. 9am to 8:30 pm daily-thru the Caucus. We will also be able to train volunteers in one central location. It will be also be supply hub for whatever you need, signs, Ron Paul Super Brochures, etc.

No, don't usually have problems and the video was stalling slightly too - but not enough to be annoying. I have a high speed connection to the net.

I know they were using a new streaming service they were trying out for the webcast tonight, will let them know people are experiencing dropped frames. Thanks for the giving us the heads up. :)

Yeah - and if you are having this kind of problem w/ 30 viewers - there is no chance it will support heavier loads.

That one the campaign used in 08 supported hundreds of users well and I'm pretty sure was free.

Hi all. Memefilter here, co-host, and de facto producer because we broadcast from my machine. Thanks everyone who tuned in, and we'll be back on tonight at 8pm EST as scheduled.

We tried out bambuser.com's player last show, primarily because it is ad-free. We also have ustream accounts (and probably several others lol) and are doing some research into which provider has the best experience for all sides. As I'm also doing the webdev for eggage.info, trust me when I say I have an incentive to make that decision ASAP.

Y'all shouldn't be getting glitches from our end - we've got plenty of bandwidth and fast computers. Bambuser (or any other provider) may have screw ups, and sometimes sites that use bandwidth throttling cause excessive buffering, and of course you might need to update your flash player or similar. However, with apologies I missed this link in chat when we were on the air (limited attention span, sry), so please join the chat and tell me if you're having issues so I can at least check my end to make sure I'm not propagating a problem to everyone watching.

This, in the context of my screwing up the 1st 5min of the show by forgetting to switch soundcards. Sorry about that - I made a big sign to remind me tonight.

So again - thanks for watching, we're back tonight at 8 w/ hardcore RP news and analysis, please join the chat if you're getting errors or just to interact with us, and sorry I missed the IA office plug. I've saved it to make sure we hit it tonight. And of course the more viewers we have the more people we can reach and inform, so if you like it please invite others. Cheers!

All I can say is that people smoking and acting weird isn't appealing to me. Don't quite know the objective of that place.

When you say acting weird what do you mean? The objective is to show that covers all the latest Ron Paul grassroots and campaign happenings in a short form (one hour show).

"President Paul" itics isn't very presidential. Two people smoking on camera isn't representing Dr. Paul very well. They took a long time to say not much of anything, and were very amused with their situation. I hung in awhile. I turned it off when they were laughing about the fake perry donation link that goes to Dr. Paul's donations and they wondered what the campaign would think about that -- and I wondered why even mention it, then and turned it off.

If it's a good thing -- go for it. I don't care. I'll get my news in text much quicker in the forum (with links). The hour, I'll spend calling from home.

Ugh I had a long typed out response but my browser crashed, basically here to quickly sum up what I typed. This isn't main stream media this is a grassroots reporting on grassroots news. The Rick Perry redirect had nothing to do with donations, it had to do with domain redirection which was covered by DailyPaul and RonPaulForums on their main page (grassroots news). You seem to have a problem with people smoking, I don't smoke but I don't care if others do as long as I'm not being effected by it they can smoke all they want and I will listen to what they have to say as long as they are saying the right things, to each their own. Finally it's 8pm EST.
