Republican Party of Pasco Straw Poll

On Tuesday, December 13, from 5:00 to 9:00pm, the Republican Party of Pasco is holding its first Straw Poll ever. You can have an opportunity to meet other Republicans, participate in a straw poll for the U.S. President, U.S. Senate, Pasco County Commission District #3, and possibly other local races.

The event will take place at Cannon Hall in the Pasco Fairgrounds, 36722 SR 52, Dade City 33525.

Working on getting the cost. Looks like $5 a ticket.

Straw Poll in Pasco on Tuesday! Please update your status as yes, no or maybe!

Please post if you need a ride or a sponcer for a ticket! If there is anything that is stopping you from going that can be remedied by the group, please, please let us know! If you do not want to post the issue on the wall, message myself and I will help you find a ride or a sponcer for the event!

Please also indicate how many people you are bringing with you so we can figure out how many we will have total! Right now we have 45 yes's. If everyone brings 1 person we will have 90.... think about it! We WILL win this! We have confirmed that Rick Perry's team bought 200 tickets for his supporters. We need to beat him!

Republican Party of Pasco Straw Poll
On Tuesday, December 13, from 5:00 to 9:00pm, the Republican Party of Pasco is holding its first Straw Poll ever. You can have an opportunity to meet other Republicans, participate in a straw poll for the U.S. President, U.S. Senate, Pasco County Commission District #3, and possibly other local races.

We will have voting machines supplied by the Supervisor of Elections at a nominal cost where participants will vote in the poll.

Tickets are $10 payable to the Republican Party of Pasco. A BBQ sandwich will be available for an additional contribution of $5. The purchase of a ticket to the event or for a meal is a contribution to the Republican Party of Pasco.

We are up to 53 yes now. Everyone is bringing people with them. We just met up with a new meetup group of 20-30 people that were not aware of the straw poll. We expect a big influx from this group (only 20 members signed up on meetup, but they have a large following)... We are going to shoot for 200+ going total. We have multiple groups driving in from far away :D :D

Anyone can vote, do not have to be registered Republican or from the local area.

Please come to this event if you can make it. Please bring your spouse, friends, family, grandparents, coworkers –
whoever. We need every vote we can get.

There is a concerted effort by the Republican Party of Florida and the Republican Party of Pasco to push Rick Perry in Florida. They want Rick Perry to surge here giving him a chance to break out nationally again. We must not let that happen. Remember what happened when Herman Cain won the
Presidency 5 Straw Poll? The media will use this against us.

Now if Ron Paul wins this Straw Poll, this puts a good
news story in the news for Ron Paul’s campaign to use. This will also be a momentum builder for us in Florida.

I have been told that Rick Perry’s campaign bought 200 tickets to try and win this thing.

We already have tons of Ron Paul supporters who are coming, but we need more. We need to win this thing and not just have a good showing. So if you can come, please spare one night of your life for the US Constitution and come to this straw poll.

The Tampa Tribune has already written about this straw poll as a possible chance for Newt or Perry to break out.
Florida is 4th on the primary calendar and the media will be watching this straw poll as will the campaigns. It is also
very symbolic because the GOP convention will be held in Tampa. How great would it be if we slammed this thing?

One other point, the Republican Party of Pasco threw out all the Ron Paul supporters out of the Republican Executive Committee in 2007. We owe it to those guys to provide the proper blowback by winning this straw poll in Pasco County.

Due to recent notes dropped about cheating by the perry team, the below is recommended for dress code:


GOP Pasco Straw Poll DRESS CODE:
This may seem silly but it could be VERY important.

The Pasco GOP is already playing shenanigans trying to get Rick Perry to win. It is HIGHLY recommended that you follow the below dress code until AFTER you vote and walk away. (we don't want any votes deleted, tossed out, or tickets denied). Keep in mind they could be jerks and when they see your ron paul shirt (hundreds of us there lol) they could make up on the spot rules like GOP only, pasco only, etc! They can do as they please... it is their event!

Dress Code:
No Ron Paul button
No Ron Paul bracelets
No Ron Paul hat
No Ron Paul shirt

After you vote and walk away, feel free to pull the button or bracelet out of your pocket. Open your jacket. Proclaim your overflowing support for Ron Paul.

This may seem dumb, or childish... but you have no idea what we are up against. Try to remain neutral on your choice of candidate until after you vote Paul.

Please spread the word to your guests. We need to speak quietly (no ron paul gear) but carry a MASSIVE stick (our votes).

Make sure everyone you are with is aware of no ron paul gear rule. We want to flood them with "neutral" people who are "undecided" and then flood their machines with Ron Paul votes. I want them to crap their pants when the vote count total 350 ron paul to 250 rick perry LOL
