There are many ways to. But one I've been using with great results is "Ron Paul is the only candidate with a plan to balance the budget". Works great on the whole political spectrum. Especially with "fiscal" conservatives.

The key is to know who you are talking to. Look for clues. Once you know the type of person you are talking to, you can address the issue that is the most important to them. Ron Paul is a great candidate for certain single issue voters, such as gun rights supporters, fiscal conservatives, etc.

I guess I've been blogging too long -- I've been bad-mouthed so much for doing it, that I no longer use the words "the only candidate"

Not kidding -- "the only candidate" sorta "puts off" someone that has another candidate in mind. Creates Automatic-dislike of the statement (and they may not even read to the end of the sentence (just my experience).
