The BIG news from Oklahoma is Herman Cain came in SECOND in the Oklahoma Straw Poll!
Results of the heavily-promoted Oklahoma Republican Straw Poll, taken over the last several weeks, were reluctantly revealed last night. For some reason, the only local media channel that even mention Ron Paul's landslide victory was KOCO channel 5. The local talk radio station KTOK finally mentioned Ron Paul came in first, but the really BIG news was Herman Cain came in an impressive second place. KFOR NBC, Fox KOKH and KWTV CBS and the Daily Oklahoman newspaper all reported NOTHING.

KOCO reporter Carla Wade. "Well Jessica, Herman Cain is still very popular with Oklahoma Republicans, they held a straw poll tonight and he came in SECOND, but this guy Ron Paul, came in first. Cain was welcomed by a room full of Republican supporters, some of whom still want him in the race, despite allegations of sexual misconduct."
You can't navigate to to poll results from the Oklahoma Straw Poll web page (http://okgop.com/oklahoma-straw-poll-results/), but Google found it in a crawl. I don't see any button on the okgop.com to the poll results. At the announcement of the results last night, it was reported that the announcer started to walk off the stage without telling the poll results and only announced the poll results after the crowd demanded it. The Ron Paul blackout is in full-swing in conservative Oklahoma, but since Ron Paul smashed all the rest, Oklahomans appear to be mostly Paulies.
