Freedom Fighters for Ron Paul

We know that INTENTION is what makes thing happen.

We are going to pour on the intention here. Don’t believe the enemy line from mainstream media that Ron Paul cannot be elected or your vote will be wasted.

THIS IS NOT TRUE.

It’s 500 of “them” (the bad guys) and over 300,000,000 of “us” (patriotic Americans). It’s a numbers game, and each one of us counts! We are not going to lie down and let these 500 suppressive people destroy our civilization.

We are making a concerted effort to get this brilliant, ethical and sane man, the Champion of the Constitution, elected. This handout will let you know what YOU CAN DO to accomplish this.

As in most areas, politics has its unique buzzwords, and if one doesn’t know what they mean, one can have back off from being involved in electing sane and competent leaders. There is a Glossary/ Key Word List at the end of this document to clarify any unfamiliar words you may have.

Good news: An online community created in support of Herman Cain has now shifted its allegiance to Ron Paul. The administrator of HermanCainForums.com (http://hermancainforums.com/), a website with more than 18,000 registered members, publicly endorsed Rep. Paul following news that Cain dropped from the Republican primary race.

What can YOU DO to promote Ron Paul to ensure he becomes the next President of the US?
Time is of the essence.

The primaries (or caucuses) start Jan 3, and we need to contact voters in Iowa, New Hampshire and So Carolina to ensure Ron Paul comes in first or second.

This way the mainstream media can no longer ignore him and pretend he doesn’t exist. This will give him tremendous momentum and a REALISTIC SHOT at the Presidency.

THE SEVEN MAIN THINGS YOU CAN DO RIGHT NOW:

1) Participate in the Phone From Home program at Phone.RonPaul2012.com (http://phone.ronpaul2012.com/) . It’s super simple and done from your home. It takes about 2 minutes to register for the program, after which you will be able to start calling. Go to http://phone.ronpaul2012.com (http://phone.ronpaul2012.com/)

This involves calling voters in the above states to survey them. You are given telephone numbers of voters but don’t have to dial, that is done automatically by the program. Just read the patter and questions on your computer screen and email the answers back to campaign headquarters.

Phone from Home is THE KEY reason Ron Paul is showing so well in Iowa right now.

See what he says about this http://www.dailypaul.com/188031/ron-...am-please-join (http://www.dailypaul.com/188031/ron-paul-phone-from-home-program-please-join)

FAQs are at http://phone.ronpaul2012.com/v/faq.php

2) Get involved in the SuperBrochure campaign at http://RonPaulBrochure.com (http://ronpaulbrochure.com/) . This involves sending a great new brochure to SuperVoters in key states (or your state, if you’d like). It is currently running in Iowa, South Carolina and Florida. One can donate to have the SuperBrochure mailed to the SuperVoters in their own precinct or any other precincts for only 55 cents each.

Or one can purchase the brochures for their own use, to hand out to their neighbors, friends, everyone, etc. at 7 cents each. What a deal!! Contact http://RonPaulBrochure.com (http://ronpaulbrochure.com/)

3) Wear a Ron Paul button, shirt, hat or some other insignia at all times. Have bumper sticker(s) on your car and sign(s) on your lawn. It’s not uncommon to get remarks such as “He doesn’t have a chance to be elected” or “Iran should have nuclear weapons.” This is a perfect opportunity to open a dialog, tell them the truth of the matter and maybe get a new voter. See FAQs below to get an idea on how to handle the most common comments.

Bumper stickers, signs, buttons, etc. can be purchased at numerous sites online. Get some for yourself and friends right away, they are not expensive and create a valuable presence. Google Ron Paul products (or buttons or bumper stickers), there are many choices of places to buy them.

A few are http://www.ronpaulproducts.com/buttons.html or http://www.ronpaul2012.com/ , as well as many more.

4) Donate up to $2,500 per individual for the campaign.

Donate either during a money bomb or at https://secure.ronpaul2012.com/?sr=26-1117a

5) You need to find out what the rules & laws are in your area & make sure that you comply & eligible to vote.

In my home state, Florida it is a closed primary state, in order to vote for RP in the Jan 31 primary, one MUST be registered Republican by December 30th, 2011. Switching to Republican to vote for Ron Paul in the primary (called Blue Republican) only applies to the primary, not the general election. But it’s vital to vote in the primary so Ron Paul will be the Republican candidate in November 2012.

One can go online and fill out a form to switch parties (or enter a change of address). This must be printed out, signed and mailed or dropped off at the courthouse by midnight of Dec. 30th! The form can be filled out online at https://www.voterfocus.com/ws/Pfinde...ounty=pinellas (https://www.voterfocus.com/ws/Pfinder/printvapp4.php?county=pinellas)

As you speak with people, ensure they know they have to be registered as a Republican by Dec 30 to be able to vote for RP in the Florida primary on Jan 31.

6) In your own area join an already existing group & get ACTIVE! Or if nothing exists, THEN create a GROUP to coordinate activities & get the ball rolling!

For those who live near Clearwater, FL, join the Freedom Fighters for Ron Paul, (SEE BELOW FOR MORE INFO) and get others involved. Learn what’s going on locally, how one can join in and help. Attend the meetings, learn more, watch videos, share wins, keep enthused. Bring your friends to the meetings.

For those from other parts of the country, contact us to set up your own Freedom Fighters for Ron Paul chapter at http://www.meetup.com/Freedom-Fighters-for-Ron-Paul-Group/ (http://www.meetup.com/Downtown-Clearwater-Ron-Paul-Group/)

7) For Pinellas County Florida residents, we need as many Precinct Leaders as possible in the next month so that we can then organize precinct canvassing and other activities. Sign up at http://www.politicalwatchdog.com/ronpaul/

Any area can do the all of these things!

Depending on the size of the Precinct, it could take an hour to a few hours a week. If a team of two went out for a couple hours every Saturday morning or afternoon, they could easily cover all SuperVoters before election time (a list of these voters will be supplied). Depending on how much time one has, there are different activities that can be done. They are:

a) Precinct Walking – door-to-door canvassing with materials to promote Ron Paul.
b) Phone calling – to promote Ron Paul, etc.
c) GOTV – Get Out The Vote – finding Ron Paul supporters so they can be contacted at election time to make sure they vote.
d) Convert to Blue Republicans – Contact SuperVoter Independents, NPA and others who would support Ron Paul and get them to register temporarily as a Republican so they can vote for Ron Paul on Election Day.

RON PAUL LEGISLATION

Ron Paul has either sponsored or supported bills relating to mental health issues, such as opposition to psychiatric drugging of children, Teen Screen, etc.

A bill in the current Congress is H.R. (house resolution) 2769 Parental Consent Act of 2011 (Aug. 1, 2011), which would prohibit the use of Federal funds for any universal or mandatory mental health-screening program.
Some of Paul’s most recently sponsored bills include:

FAQs

Q. I have heard that Ron Paul is not electable, and I don’t want to waste my vote.
A. Ron Paul has won his own Congressional seat 12 times.
A. Voting for any other candidate is voting for more of the same. Isn’t that a wasted vote?
A. John Quincy Adams said, "Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost."

Q. He isn’t a good orator and doesn’t have charisma.
A. Obama got elected mainly because he was a good orator and had charisma. How’s that working out for us?

Q. He doesn’t support Israel and is anti-Semitic.
A. This is a black PR (a lie). Who said it? Where are the sources? He is opposed to foreign aid to Israel, as well as every other country we send money to because there's no authorization in the Constitution to force American's to pay "aid" to other countries, many of whom are very corrupt.

Q. Removing our military from bases around the world is insane.
A. Having bases in other countries is unconstitutional and costing us trillions of our tax dollars, which could be better spent at home. And how would you feel if China had their military bases in each of our states?

Q. He says Iran should have nuclear weapons (We can thank Donald Trump for this one).
A. Nowhere in the Constitution does it designate the US to be policemen of the world. Presently China, France, Russia, UK, USA, India, Pakistan, North Korea and Israel have nuclear weapons. Who are we to say who can have them and who is not allowed to have them? As a signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and a member of the IAEA, Iran has every right to develop and acquire nuclear technology meant for peaceful purposes.

Q. He’s too old.
A. Dr. Paul walks three miles a day and also bikes 15 miles a day when he has time. He does both when he's home, but when on the road does one or the other. He likes to exercise twice a day if possible, and still takes the stairs two at a time. Plus he’s the only congressman to ever hit a home run in the Congressional Baseball game’s 50-year history (Democrats vs. Republicans).

SUCCESS STORIES
Here’s a few short stories on the value of buttons, bumper stickers, etc. from local supporters

I think wearing the Ron Paul buttons 24/7 is really a great idea because you can have direct contact with people, create conversations.
A lady came in the store and saw my Ron Paul button and asked me if he was a "Good Christian." I said certainly. She liked Ron Paul somewhat, but Newt better. She said she watched the debates and liked Newt Gingrich's answers a lot. I said I don’t know about Newt's religion but he has had three divorces, mistresses between and during the marriages and more scandal than Herman Cain.
We chatted more about issues and then said she would like to wear a Ron Paul button, and I gave her one. She was 75 and a registered Republican. Wish they were all that easy.” Art Arbutine, Belleair Coins
I was at Home Depot, came out of the store and a guy was standing next to my truck. He saw the RON PAUL bumper sticker that I had proudly displayed on my back window He said he liked Ron Paul but said he can't vote for Ron Paul because Wolf Blitzer asked him a health care question-scenario and Ron Paul’s answer was "Let Him Die."

I said. “Hey listen, Ron Paul IS a Doctor, he would never say that. So I gave him a SuperBrochure. I accessed YouTube on my smart phone trying to find the video. It was hard because most videos have been cut and redone to make RP LOOK as though he is saying Yes. I FINALLY found the video, played it through my truck stereo system and watched the video with him.

He agreed that he was wrong. Said he will be voting Jan 31 for Ron Paul. He asked for a bumper sticker and put it on his SUV right in front of me. Another guy saw this and asked for one as well! Sooo we put one on his truck, which in turn led to another couple asking "Hey who's got the Ron Paul Bumper Stickers?" - Yep gave them one too!

4 HOURS LATER I FINALLY LEFT! And yes, I gave SuperBrochures to everyone! (Thanks again Art). I told EVERYONE that the SuperBrochures and bumper stickers came from Bellaire Coins on West Bay! And the guys name is ART.

P.S- I would love to find someone LOCAL who has T SHIRTS as I am going to try and go to Sign waving in Clearwater tomorrow. Thanks, Rob Bradbury

GLOSSARY
As in most topics, politics also has its unique buzzwords, and if one doesn’t know what they mean, one can have back off from being involved in electing sane and competent leaders. Please read and understand this brief glossary.

Bretton Woods Agreement A system for monetary and exchange rate management established in 1944, developed at the United Nations Monetary and Financial (http://www.investopedia.com/terms/b/brettonwoodsagreement.asp) Conference held in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire. It was attended by 730 delegates from the 44 Allied nations during WWII.

The result of this conference included the formation of the International Monetary Fund, the International Bank (http://www.investopedia.com/terms/b/brettonwoodsagreement.asp) for Reconstruction and Development and the introduction of an adjustable pegged foreign exchange rate system. Currencies were pegged to gold and the IMF was given the authority to intervene when an imbalance of payments arose.

caucus A meeting open to all registered voters of a political party, for the purpose of choosing delegates to nominate a candidate for president, rather than all voters going to the poll and voting. A series of such meetings are held at the local (precinct), county and state levels.

delegate A person sent or authorized to represent others.

general election The election between the candidates who won the primary election for their party, to run for Pres/Vice Pres. It is going to be held on Nov 6, 2012.

H. R. House Resolution, the first step of a bill in the legislative process. Introduced bills and resolutions first go to committees that deliberate, investigate, and revise them before they go to general House of Representatives debate. The majority of bills and resolutions never make it out of committee.

IAEA International Atomic Energy Agency, an international organization that seeks to promote the peaceful use of nuclear energy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_technology), and to inhibit its use for any military purpose, including nuclear weapons (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_weapons).

Independent No Party Affiliation or NPA is a term used to apply to those voters (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vote) or politicians (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politicians) who do not hold an affiliation with any particular political party (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_party). Another term which is often used in place of "NPA" is "Independent." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Independent_%28voter%29)

Iowa What’s the deal with Iowa? It has the first “voting event” of the presidential election year. Iowans hold a series of meetings (caucuses) and pick delegates who vote for them. There is a great deal of media coverage on this and their outcome is considered very significant. The Iowa caucuses will be held on Jan 3, 2012. The delegates are the actual people who vote for the president, rather than the people voting directly for him. The people vote for the delegate, who represents them in their vote for the President.

Libertarian The 3rd largest and fastest growing political party (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_parties_in_the_United_States) in the US (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States). It proposes free markets, strong civil liberties (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_liberties), and non-interventionism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-interventionism) in foreign policy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_policy_of_the_United_States), i.e., avoiding foreign military or economic entanglements with other nations and respect for freedom of trade (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_trade) and travel to all foreign countries. RP’s views are Libertarian, but it has proven impossible to win a presidential election or even be taken seriously as a 3rd party, so he has elected to run as a Republican.

New Hampshire The second state to hold its primary, which will be on Jan. 10, 2012.

NPA No Party Affiliation or NPA is a term used to apply to those voters (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vote) or politicians (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politicians) who do not hold an affiliation with any particular political party (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_party). Another term which is often used in place of "NPA" is "Independent." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Independent_%28voter%29)
