to get the old voters, because they are the ones who primarily vote. What do you all think?

Exactly - he's the only one with a plan to save it. The rest may put off it's collapse a bit, but that's it. His statements about phasing it NEED the additional words "will be there for anyone that's retired or has already been paying into it". People don't get that - all they hear is that he's the candidate that wants to end those programs.

This is what is killing us in Florida.

Yes, I've heard from so many that Dr. Paul wants to end all government assistance.
They need to know that they can keep their precious checks -- while Dr. Paul balances the budget with other cuts!

I love Ron's idea on this. It's simply brilliant. He will not end it himself, but allow freedom of choice, and the people, voluntarily, will put an end to social security because the young workers will opt out until after a generation, the entire socialist, wealth-destroying debacle will be over and done with. Bravo, Dr. Paul.

Yes. He should brand himself as the only one who can save it. Hard to win without it. in my opinion.
