and because of the NUMBER OF DEBATES, the debates are a better predictor of who will win the general election, which is WAY MORE SIGNIFICANT than Iowa or NH.

LOL

It makes one chuckle to hear Dick Morris of all people calling anything inconsequential.

Well, maybe he should know best, he's as inconsequential as they come.

I was just wondering yesterday when "they" were going to start minimizing the significance of the early states results.

Yeah, he was a tool last night on hannity. Ignores Ron's 42:42 against obama, but discussed romney's below him. Then blathered about how lucky America is to have two such intelligent, magnficant candidates, "...and then there's Ron Paul..." he said with smirk, hannity say ,"yeah" dismisisively an they move on.

If Ron won the first 10 states those would all be suddenly insignificant, too.

Maybe he's afraid Ron Paul will win Iowa and that is why "early states are inconsequential".

All of that toe sucking left him with little to no oxygen in the head.

The headline of the thread made me LOL. The Statist Quo shills are so predictable.

Remember the Democratic nomination went on & on, no reason to think the same thing won't happen with the R's.

Fred Thompson and Giuliani were both national frontrunner at one time. Both withdrew by the end of January because their performance in early primary states was abysmal. Giuliani was the national frontrunner on the day he came in last at Iowa.

The first state that Ron Paul does not win will be the first consequential state.

Ron Paul must be winning for this jackass to be downplaying the importance of the early races.

I like to spy on the opposition team...was listening to Bill Bennett's radio show, and there he was.

If Ron won the presidency, it would be suddenly insignificant too.

Yes, as Ron Paul is being sworn in, the media would be reporting on the new "insignificance" of the POTUS and how it really doesn't mean anything blah blah blah
