In 2008 when Fox News refused to include Ron Paul in the debates Jay Leno invited Ron Paul onto his show. He had the highest ratings ever.

This year, December 27th, while all of the other candidates enjoy the Trump circus, Ron Paul could be on Leno telling him why HE refused to go to the debate this time.

Let the Tonight Show know that you want Ron Paul on the show December 27th!

Sent a request for 12-27. Told Jay it would be a ratings bonzanza and that millions of Ron Paul supporters would give him free publicity, not to mention the networks would all be watching to see what Ron says about Trump and the other candidates at the debate which finishes an hour or so before the Tonight Show airs.

Leno will likely be on vacation until after the New Year during this time.

there may be a guest host and quite solid odds that jon huntsman is also thinking this idea over?

They don't do guest hosts any more. Not since the 90s, or maybe even 80s, before Leno took over. They just air a rerun.

Trump sure would be pissed at Jay Leno.

Too bad. Ron Paul would be a great guest host.

They record stuff all time -- maybe record it earlier -- play it that night? I went ahead and made the suggestion.

Won't happen. Leno doesn't do it for his health. He does it for ratings and money.

Leno said tonight that Ron was going to be on next week. any truth?

Why don't we wait and see what happens. Paul, Huntsman, Romney, Perry, and Bachmann aren't doing the Trump "debate". That's 5/7 candidates. I'm assuming something else will be held.

Wow, maybe Ron is going to get more time than he did on his 2008 visit to the Tonight Show.

I see two or more guests, plus a musical guest on all of the other nights. But on Friday, it's just Ron Paul, plus the musical guest. Or does this just mean that the other guest hasn't been finalized/announced yet?
