My thoughts exactly. If this poll is anything to go by, the country is filled with complete idiots. The fact that Gringrich, of all people, is polling so high shows just how stupid people really are. If one reads about Gringrich's history for an hour, they'll see he's no conservative and is instead a vampire who sneaks into people's houses and sucks the blood out of their cats.

When they find out more about Newt, that should change dramatically.

I wish we would stop putting so much credence in these polls. I have never been called nor asked any question as Im sure many others here haven't as well. Polls typically ignore people who have more important things to do.

I'd like more data on who they polled as well, but still, I think, we are indeed screwed.

if you were to take a survey like that in Iowa in Feb. '11 Ron's numbers would look similar. Once he puts some time and effort into campaigning people respond very favorably and if you look at his net favorability there now it is very very good. The same will happen nationally in time.
