I've never read so many ignorant and outright false comments, and from professors and political operatives to boot.

I am completely dumbfounded by Dean Baker's comment:

Dean Baker Co-director, Center for Economic and Policy Research :

It is likely that Ron Paul's position on foreign policy issues is one of the main reasons that he is drawing support in Iowa. Polls show overwhelming opposition to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. There are undoubtedly many people who will be anxious to vote for a candidate who promises to end such adventures.

However, the media are very protective of such policies and will likely try to discredit Paul or any other candidate who raises fundamental questions about U.S. foreign policy. So, yes, because of the inability of the media to conduct themselves in a fair and impartial manner, Paul's views on foreign will probably preclude him from getting the nomination.

This guy is an establishment type economist here in DC and here he is pointing out the media bias. Wow!!
