Fred Thompson down to 5.5% on Intrade

Fred Thompson's candidacy continues to crash and burn. He is now down to 5.5%chance to get the Republican nomination on Intrade. Ron Paul is still in third place behind Giuliani and Romney at 8.7%. I suspect he will be breaking into double digits soon.

I guess that Drudge Report piece yesterday about Fred not really wanting to be president has hurt him. But still, the speed with which he's plummeted is astonishing.

yeah, those votes will most likely go to Huck, or some even Romney. I maintain that Romney is stronger than we think, esp the early states.

Giuliani will have the edge if McCain completely disentegrates.
