A lot of Ron Paul supporters also listen to InfoWars, Alex Jones supports and speaks of Ron Paul often, sells his own versions of Ron Paul T-shirts and has RP on his radio show as a guest from time to time. Before Ron Paul announced his 2012 bid, I thought for sure Alex Jones would have been a driving force for the campaign, but having listened closely, Alex Jones wasn't really mentioning supporting Ron Pauls actual candidacy, moreover he was just paying lip service to his audience showing the illusion of support, not actual support. A few of our friends got together and decided to email Alex about being more vocal towards Ron Pauls campaign, and the next day Alex was putting out support videos and doing news stories of Ron Pauls efforts. It seamed to us, that our emails worked, and Alex took notice.

Then we noticed that although Alex was speaking of the campaign almost everyday, directly or loosely, for some strange reason on money bomb days, Alex wouldn't say a word about Ron Paul, or if he did, definitely not a word about the money bombs. On the day of the most promoted money bomb "Black This Out" I was outraged. Aaron Dikes was filling in for Alex on the radio, and he mentioned a money bomb, but it wasn't Ron Pauls money bomb, it was his own InfoWars money bomb starting in a few days...

Alex Jones' is a big Ron Paul supporter, his show InfoWars has about 3,000,000 listeners on any given day, most of which are Ron Paul supporters. I propose we all start emailing Alex Jones and ask him to promote the December 16th Ron Paul money bomb. I believe that if we can flood his in-box with this type of request Alex would support the money bomb on his radio show. That's 3 Million people guys, 5 times larger than Ron Pauls fans on facebook. This is exactly what we need to break the MB record, not preaching to ourselves all day on the DP and RPF.

Also, we can email the Silver/Gold communitys on You Tube, and other shows and websites to do videos and mention the money bomb. Most of these guys have 1000's of Ron Paul friendly subscribers.

Example of emails we could sent to:

Alex Jones/Infowars
The Peter Schiff Radio Show / and his YouTube Channel
Max Keiser / The Keiser Report on RT
Bob Chapmans website
+ more

YouTubers: (All these channels are Amazing, if your a You Tuber think about subscribing to them. Most of them are RP supporters with a heavy subscriber base thats Ron Paul Friendly)
SGTBull07 / and SGTReport.com
George4Title
StreetMoney21
Drutter
TheResistance (Mark Dice's Channel, also find his website)
BullorBearReport
Silverfuturist

Guys, if a few hundred of us send friendly emails out to these guys and others about supporting and mentioning the Dec 16th moneybomb. We could have a huge impact. Everyone I mentioned above has an audience from a few thousand, to a few million likely pro Ron Paul supporters. Fell free to add to the list, or make your own! This is how we can reach millions and make money bomb history!!!

I think Alex Jones does all he can for Ron Paul. We can't expect everyone, everyday, especially when they're working, to be continuously promote Ron Paul 100% of the time.

I think if anything, when we badger people, it just pisses them off not at Ron Paul, but at Ron Paul supporters.

You're going to do what you're going to do, but I know Alex Jones supports him, and that's good enough for me. I know he'll do what he can.

I have already emailed a few people and forwarded people the post on the DP with the contacts for AJ and George Noory.

I wish they would mention the money bomb every day. But there are campaign rules that I don't know about. I am trying to find out.

If alex mentions the Dec 16th Money Bomb Every day we would get about 30 million. That is really what we need.

Come on people start putting links to the tea party site and the video in all of your posts

I personally prefer not to have anything to do with people like Alex Jones or Ventura, or that ilk. It does us no good to be associated with truther types. Only thing it does is reinforce peoples perceptions of RP's lunacy. Please stop trying to associate RP with AJ in any way. The less he speaks of Ron, the better.

First of all, I found out about Alex Jones through Ron Paul, and NOT the other way around as some have. As a libertarian party activist, the moment I found out Ron Paul was running in 2007, I googled Ron Paul, and back then, the only thing it would bring up is Alex Jones. If you listened to Alex Jones in 2007, it was basically the Ron Paul show almost every day, ESPECIALLY on money bomb days, alex would push it hard. Now, Alex really only mentions Ron Paul in passing. It's WEIRD, especially since Ron Paul has a million times more of a chance winning now than he did in 2008. I don't have an explanation for it, but I think Alex's lack of pushing Ron Paul this time is one reason for why we aren't getting the same kind of money bombs.
Also, I must say, many of the Alex Jones types who backed Ron Paul in 2007/8 have done a 180 and are now anti-Paul. Just take a look at any given Ron Paul article on infowars.com. They talk about how Ron Paul is "in on the conspiracy". These conspiracy people, often times are very leftist and socialist, or simply like bashing ANY politician. They're not always political libertarians.

I think the InfoWars associations hurt more than they help.

Take these types of remarks and multiply by 10000.

And then people whine, "Why isn't AJ doing more for the money bomb/RP/the campaign?"

Been a fan of AJ for years and regular listener, he promotes RP all the time, I think not a show goes by that he mentions him.

But there are so many people that have been all along, STFU and GTFO at AJ, and by association, fans of his or "truthers" in general (which I am one) that now, after all this time, maybe you got listened to.

And then people bitch about it. Jesus Christ, talk about "can't win for losing".

There is another aspect here and that is legal.

Directly promoting a campaign event on your media outlet, I'm pretty sure, is considered a "donation in kind" by the FEC and could land both AJ and the campaign in hot water if he were to do that.

I certainly don't know any, but that said, the whole 9/11 issue has certainly fizzled once W left town.

No doubt there was a certain "leftist" contingent that was only concerned with bashing the evil W and Cheney.

Once "their" guy rolled into town, these people disappeared, along with the anti war people, like a fart in a blizzard.

That does not render the underlying arguments of either case invalid, however.

9/11 remains an inside job, and USG backed, illegal, unconstitutional wars continue to kill innocent men, women and children all across the globe.

better off emailing fox,cnn and msnbc then getting a story on infowars for the moneybomb! what a joke find me a story on infowars about the moneybomb before the moneybomb blackthisout? please give me a link dated before the black this out moneybomb to a written story by a reporter on his site and i am not talking forums. now that is what i really call a joke and it is not funny!hehe haha ho ho

by the way i just want him t ocover news on his liberty news site? not one story on the moneybombs before the fact for example search black this out on his info wars site! he could at least hire a reporter or blogger to actually report the news on his liberty news site ,oo the horror go ahead search his website black this out nothing until after the fact except for a forum post. sounds like blackthisout cnn/msnbc and fox to me if you vist the site!!

Just pure speculation on my part but the campaign could have asked him to tone it down this time. I think we can all agree that while Alex Jones provides some excellent information, he could be a liability to the campaign should we continue moving upwards and the media runs with some guy promoting the campaign around the clock who is also ranting about 9/11 being an inside job. This is not to say that I disagree with a lot of what Alex Jones says and does but I view it as maybe protecting the campaign from being connected to someone who could be so explosive in a negative way for the campaign.

my main point is the website and the fact that many folks do not listen to radio online or offline. how hard is it to post a write up on a news"liberty" website infowars? how hard is it to do a write up on the moneybomb so it can be found on google and his own website. I also think Alex Jones hurts Dr. Paul more than he helps.
The GOP media has thoroughly trashed Alex Jones, told people he's dangerous, don't listen, he's a "conspiracy nut" etc.

When defending Dr. Paul in blogs, I often run across the "Alex Jones attacks used against Dr. Paul"

Alex Jones' audience is NOT what Dr. Paul needs right now. Dr. Paul needs the voters who DO NOT watch Alex Jones.

Alex seems like a much busier guy than he did in 07-08. Almost like a caricature of himself. I honestly believe that he isn't following the campaign as closely and probably doesn't know about the moneybombs. I think he's extremely distracted and being pulled in several directions.

When I listen to him now, I get the sense that his heart isn't in it, many of his rants seem kind of forced.

When he talks about Ron, he seems quite passionate and sincere, but I doubt he's following daily actions of the campaign.

Of course this puts the burden of activism on us. Call the show on money bomb days and plug them.

THIS. If Ron gets elected Alex will lose viewers. Same deal with Limbaugh if Obama doesn't get reelected (he doesn't have anyone to bitch about).

If Ron gets elected I think there is still material for Alex. After all, the people who compose large interest groups like the CFR haven't gone anywhere, they just don't have a puppet in the presidents seat. The House and Senate are full of these people. He could certainly spend time going after them and directly exposing them. His profitability will suffer however, so I don't know if he really wants Ron to win. Who knows.

You better alert the campaign then, 'cos Bruce Fien was on yesterday's show, and for the last three days it's been nothing but Ron Paul on the AJ show.

Funny, I don't even get mad at people like you anymore.

the very last thing this campaign needs is to re-associate itself with the nutjob conspiracy theory fringe that brought us down last time. we're running hard, doing well, making good steady progress and are on pace to do very well in iowa. there is no need to put our tin-foil hats on for the sake of soliciting donations from the peanut gallery.

Then you ought to listen to Alex Jones more! I am a long time listener of Alex Jones and there isn't a day that goes by that he does not promote, support and report the news on Ron Paul's candidacy and disrespectful treatment Ron Paul gets by MSM and the GOP!

For all the pissing and moaning and wasted bandwidth and energy you have provided here, you could have been thinking up more ways to support Dr. Paul today!

Alex Jones talks about issues many here cannot come to terms with--until then, until you really understand the gravity of the issues AJ talks about, you cannot and will not understand Alex Jones.

This post is so misguided I don't even know what to say...

Who knows.

Just one single time when a member on here implies or flat out says that Alex is doing it for the money I'd like to see them prove it by comparing Alex Jones' net worth to Ron Paul's ;)

It's funny that in the same threads where people are on AJ for not pumping Ron Paul enough, people are mad about him being "associated" with Ron Paul. It's funny but I've even seen some people who make a habit of attacking 9/11 truthers (for the good of the campaign of course ;) ) attack AJ for not promoting this or that moneybomb.

I do have to agree that AJ isn't something you want Ron Paul being associated with in a big public way. He talks about things that the MSM simply will NEVER talk about, and they hate Ron enough already with what he believes, so having it known that he endorses AJ and all that jazz, just wouldn't be good.

But that is not to say i don't love the guy, he is awesome and god damn, he has opened my eyes to a ton of things since i started listening to him about 7 months ago. Sure at first, he seems really over the top, or some crazy truther, but everything he says can be corroborated by doing some basic research on it. All the things i have read before listening to him, he then spoke on, but even deeper than that, so i knew at that moment he was completely credible. The guy works his ass off and does all he can to expose the bs out there. He talks to many top officials in the middle east, people who would never be on the MSM, because, ya know, that just would be 'too awkward' to hear their side of things

The guy is funny as all hell too...i love when he is in a bad mood, and then starts 'the globalists' rants hehe.

I looked into this a little more and I maintain that I'm right.

Here's a case about a stock car driver that got in trouble with the FEC for violating contribution limits because posting a political message on your stock car amounted to a "donation in kind" that exceeded the maximum limits based on what the advertising space on the side of his car was worth.

http://www.campaignfreedom.org/blog/id.144/blog_detail.asp

You cannot use your own advertising platform to directly promote a candidate or candidate's fundraiser.

Or at least you cannot past what the feds determine to be the maximum allowable amount, in this case $2500.

I'll grant your point that they could report about it though.

No, Alex would become much more popular because libertarianism would become much more popular and accepted, and there is a shortage of big-name political radio hosts who are libertarians.

Your thesis assumes that Ron Paul will be just another President. Meaning, he will go back on what he says he's going to do, will continue the wars, torture, spending, taxes, and so forth.

People become disillusioned with pundits who posit that one party is better than another, and then when their party comes into power, there is no net improvement. This applies to both left and right. I believe Keith Olbermann, for example, took a big hit in the ratings about a year into Obama's presidency.

Ron Paul Revolution Enters Crucial Countdown To Iowa

December 16 money bomb set to be biggest ever [my emphasis]

Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
Thursday, December 8, 2011

With Ron Paul now firmly established as a top tier candidate just weeks away from the crucial caucuses in Iowa and New Hampshire, the Paul campaign is set to launch what could turn out to be the biggest ever single day online money bomb in the history of U.S. politics.

Back in 2007, Ron Paul supporters made history (http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/2007/12/ron-paul-suppor/) by raising $6 million in online contributions in a single 24 hour period, beating the single day record for a national candidate.

That total could easily be topped on December 16th, when the Paul campaign launches its ‘Tea Party Money Bomb’ as part of a final mail, radio, and TV ad push in Iowa.

However, Congressman Paul has urged his supporters to donate as soon as possible so as to fund ad buys in Iowa. Paul’s TV ads have been devastating to his Republican rivals thus far, with the latest being targeted against Newt Gingrich’s “serial hypocrisy” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWKTOCP45zY).

The crucial Iowa caucus takes place on January 3rd with New Hampshire following a week later on January 10th.

“We need to do well in Iowa and New Hampshire, because it’s very important for perception,” Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Chairman Jesse Benton said (http://www.thestatecolumn.com/texas/ron-paul-to-kick-off-tea-party-money-bomb/) to POLITICO after the Michigan debate. “It’s also important because the voters in those states are very adept and astute at evaluating candidates, so we need to be in the top three in those states, no question about it,” Mr. Benton added.

“If you were holding off on contributing until the Money Bomb later this month, I must ask you to please contribute today at least half of whatever you were planning to give on the 16th,” Mr. Paul said in a campaign email.

As Michael Brendan Dougherty highlights (http://www.businessinsider.com/ron-pauls-loyal-supporters-are-getting-ready-to-shock-the-world-in-iowa-2011-12), the next few weeks could be the most exciting ever in the history of the Ron Paul Revolution. It’s no longer a stretch to say that Ron Paul has a genuine chance of building the kind of momentum that could see him secure the Republican candidacy.

“This is no longer a political novelty act. It’s not a seminar on the Constitution disguised as a campaign. This is the emergence of a populist-libertarian force that is growing into an organized movement in American politics. And if Paul shocks the establishment in Iowa, January 3rd 2012 will be recorded in history as this movement’s coming out party,” writes Dougherty.

As numerous polls have shown, should Paul become the Republican nominee, he has every chance of defeating Barack Obama in a head to head run off. The most recent survey (http://www.therightperspective.org/2011/12/06/ron-paul-polls-strongest-against-obama/) conducted by NBC-Marist shows that Paul has the best chance of beating Obama compared to all the other Republican candidates. Paul is currently tied with Obama 42-42, whereas Newt Gingrich trails Obama 47-37 and Mitt Romney is behind 46-39.

There are also reports that Democrats are abandoning Obama (http://freekeene.com/2011/12/05/nh-democrats-leaving-the-party-for-ron-paul/comment-page-1/)in droves over his vast expansion of the U.S. Military’s involvement in foreign conflicts and registering as Republicans simply so they can vote for Ron Paul.

Now has never been a more important time to get behind Ron Paul’s 2012 presidential campaign, and we encourage all our readers to donate either before or on the day of the next scheduled money bomb by visiting http://www.ronpaul2012.com/.
