The $10,000 MATCHING mini-money bomb - what to do about it?

Well, the mini-moneybomb sorta bombed. :(

It was a match - my $2,000 for your $8,000. 4:1. I really wanted to A) use my money to generate more money for the campaign. and B) get the campaign money NOW! You guys matched me for about $100 of the $2,000. So what now?

Some ideas:

Throw in the towel - we got ~$400 so just donate the 2K

Keep going in $100 bites till it's all matched.

Lesser ratio? 3:1, 2:1, 1:1 some other bennie?

Do it again for the debate on the 10th?

Do a supply buy bomb?

Other?

Screw it - I really NEEDED that big screen TV anyway... :rolleyes:

If I continue, this needs to be re-themed - ideas?

Honestly I would just donate, you tried. The campaign needs money NOW, especially this week when they try to target Cain supporters

What a shame this fizzled out. Your intentions were noble. Perhaps what happened illustrates that people on this forum are "tapped out" and that we need to search for donations from outside the forum. That is why I am imploring everyone to push the December 16th "Money Bomb" far and wide. There are only 2 weeks left, and thus far, not enough has been done to promote this.

I'd just donate. If there was more time I might think about using some of the cash to promote the money bomb, but I really think that the cash is more valuable to the campaign now.

I don't understand matching. If you can afford to donate more and are willing to donate more, just do it.
