The Sioux City Journal endorsement of a Republican presidential candidate will be published online tonight, one month in advance of the important Jan. 3 Iowa caucuses.

The endorsement will post up at 6 p.m. at www.siouxcityjournal.com. The endorsement is believed to be the first by a major Iowa newspaper prior to the caucuses. The Journal print product reaches three states, and is the largest Northwest Iowa newspaper.

Sioux City Journal endorsed Romney in 2008.

Regardless of who they endorse the race is still up for grabs. Anyone who is reading this can help Dr. Paul win in Iowa by signing up for Phone from Home. All you need is a computer, a phone and a desire to see Dr. Paul win in Iowa. I am calling Iowa voters right this very minute. You can too. Just go to http://phone.ronpaul2012.com to get started.

The establishment does not want a Paul presidency. The odds are that Sioux City Journal will endorse whomever TBTB want.

At least it wasn't Gingrich. We aren't really competing for the Romney vote in Iowa.

Skip the article, just read this and you'll know they are settling:

Bottom line: We believed a Romney-vs.-Obama general election campaign would best serve the nation in 2008, and we believe the same is true in 2012.

Romney was a waste of an endorsement in 2008, and he will be the same in 2012.

I added the following comment:

Which Mitt are you endorsing? Seriously! The man is the classic rental politician and in no small part due to that he would lose to Obama, just as McCain did last time around.

Huntsman recently produced this excellent video highlighting the problems with Mitt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7kog1CjzcY

Defeat Obama Campaign produced this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OQoBxZZPqU

Romney's jobs record while MA Governor was 47th in the nation, trailed by only Michigan, Ohio, & Louisiana. That's HARDLY impressive.

MY vote will be cast for the ONLY candidate in the race who has demonstrated superior wisdom, understanding, consistency AND integrity.

The ONE candidate who predicted the fall of the Soviet Union, the housing and financial crises, the current growing poverty and dependence upon government, and MANY other things. The ONE candidate who ALSO opposed the bailouts, knowing that they represent an assault on middle class America by taking money from our pockets and giving it to big corporations who then give it to wealthy executives. This ONE candidate has so much integrity that he refused to accept even Medicare or Medicaid for his patients, doing the work for free as needed instead because he believes it is wrong to accept money that was taken from others by force.

My vote will be cast for ONLY Ron Paul, and no one else.

I'm glad it wasn't Newt.
