Earlier this week, I got a call from Corey Maness, the Deputy Finance Director for the Ron Paul 2012 campaign. He was looking for money so they could go all out in IA and NH - IA being only 5 weeks away, they really need the money NOW! He informed me that I'd donated $500 to date and asked if I'd be willing to make a substantial donation or even max out. I told him I'd check my finances and get back to him.

The next day a very nice refund check comes in from the IRS... Funny how these things work...

My goal is to raise $10,000 for the campaign today. I'm looking for 4:1 matches, so if you guys donate $8,000 I'll donate $2,000. You must post your conformation number in this thread for it to count.

Two things I did find out is that if you max out, the campaign will send you supplies for free and they have not set up the bank account for the general election yet and probably will not till March and April - so don't send in funds above $2,500 yet.
