Funny, I just woke up on the west coast and couldn't go back to sleep (4 a.m.). So, I turn on CNN and lo and behold, they say they'll have Ron Paul live in a few mins.

He said he made 1.5 million dollars while on the plane flying from Houston on Nov. 5th. "And I didn't even make a phone call." :)

some quotes from the Doctor;

"...the campaign is almost like it's on autopilot."
"I haven't ever made a phone call for fundraising."
"the more we dictate to others, the greater the incentive for the Jihadists to grow."
"the Chinese are bringing us down, not with a weapon but with the weapon of the dollar."
"Washington's sound asleep about this dollar."

Good commentary from the anchorman. Right after they ended the interview, and just as Paul finished talking about fiscal policy and restoring the dollar, the anchorman said to the interviewer, "He makes an awful lot of sense, doesn't he?"

It was good coverage, but Dr. Paul looked really, really tired and he had to clear his throat in the middle of a sentence. I hope that he's getting enough rest.

The Ron Paul radio crew was beat after the huge surge Monday, and the buzz kept going Tuesday. And that's the Ron Paul radio crew. Imagine how the actual CAMPAIGN feels

They need a new crew.
They had one guy on the air at 10 pm, the day of the fundraiser
and at 10:30 he began whining that someone needed to come relieve him
because he didn't want to be there anymore.

Sad

I'll have to say, the November 5th campaign is paying off in spades. I didn't oppose it, and of course I donated, but I really didn't think that it would be nearly the success that it has turned out to be. The media coverage over the last two days has been better than ever before.

I listened to them on Monday.
Hard not to notice a sad performance like that,
at a crucial time such as the final surge of the fundraiser.

Others on the air were excellent.
That one kid was a disgrace.

Sorry. Feedback isn't always all lollipops and puppydogs.

$4.5 million in donations = $9 million dollars in free airtime

Making television news guys angry because they have to report it = Priceless!

Yes, and all it took to get you guys to notice it was for us to raise more money online in one day THAN ANY CANDIDATE EVER BEFORE.

He said he made 1.5 million dollars while on the plane flying from Houston on Nov. 5th. "And I didn't even make a phone call." :)
To put this in perspective, Ron Paul's goal in his Congressional campaigns was to raise 1 million dollars each cycle, and he had to spend a ton on direct mail to his nation-wide supporters to do it. When he says he's surprised that we raised so much in one day and without any real effort, what he means is that he's STUCKING FUNNED.

I was honestly expecting for CNN to Rick Roll me there. Great interview! I love when he starts talking about the dollar, because he says things that absolutely no one running president is saying. If people watch this and take a few minutes to research what he's talking about, the will be in for a world of shock.

They tried to make him look out of touch with the latest results of "the surge"...

He handled it well, but must be ready to address it better next time.

A interview........not A+, but A all the way.
