Yeah, it is amazing. How can it be an honestly moderated debate when he already has a favorite. I guess it is more honest in that the dishonesty is so blatent.

It carries weight if the MSM decides whether it carries weight. This is rigged from the get-go.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Yep, he was on FOX last night/this morning talking with Greta regarding his visit. It's interesting, they reporters always ask "So, why are you visiting him?" and the candidates that do so give a bogus answer about how they are such good friends and have known each other for years or that Trump is soooooooooooooooo interesting.

Bullsh*t. They are going there to ask his endorsement or his money. Good thing Corporations are People Too or else they could contribute way way more than $2,500! Oh wait... they aren't.

that is to get people to go. Now I REALLY think Ron shouldn't. It will all be about bolstering his choice.

I'm jealous that Huntsman refused first.

could be. If so, it means they recognize Newt is done, though. And I'm not sure they are at that point yet.

Do we really need another debate? This is more about Trump than anything else. I wouldn't go.

Is this the debate that Huntsman is being barred from for failing to poll 5% nationally? If so, his announced refusal smacks of a childish: "I didn't want to come to your stupid debate anyway, so there!"

If that is the case, it will be PROOF this whole thing is rigged because Dick Foot-Fetish Morris predicted a Bachmann resurgence two weeks ago.

Trump wouldn't endorse homophobia and she's the symbol of homophobia in the Republican party. Trump is a businessman and he's pro-gay for that reason, a Bachmann endorsement would hurt his business.

No that was another one, the Fox one I think. It said he refused this invitation, but I wasn't reading carefully. This is only going to be on some cable channel I never heard of. the most pressing part is that it is by Newsmax.

Ron Paul should skip this debate! I wish everyone agreed so that we could petition him to skip and hold a Rally for him instead (in Iowa of course). If he loses I'd rather see him go down with his dignity intact than be subjected to this freakshow.

Guys stop this nonsense about him skipping the debate. It's like a week before the caucus and it's in Iowa. If he isn't there, he'll be seen as an outsider. He'll be seen as a bottom tier candidate. He'll be seen as not caring enough about Iowa to show up.

It's not like Trump can be any worse than CBS. Dr. Paul can handle the questions. It's way worse to not show up. And who knows, maybe he'll win Trump over.

Newsmax is heavily neocon. They send me e-mails with their weekly headlines and there is usually one "Fear Iran" story.

There is no way a mercantilist like Trump will ever support the doctor.

It's show business -- just like Palin's pre-election deal -- Trump won't give up the suspense because it keeps him in the limelight. I wish NONE of the candidates would take his debate seriously. There are too many debates already!
