You guys are right, this is confusing............It seems what it all boils down to is that DeMint voted for the "Paul Amendment"(to end the AUMF-Iraq) and against the "Udall Amendment." I understand the "Udall Amendment" is suspect in what authority it gives or takes? Anyone care to elaborate?

On the indefinite detention issue Udall tweaked it, Rand's amendment would abolish the section all together.
