If he's with Santorum, it's likely foreign policy. Or, what, gay marraige?

maybe they are announcing that the two will be running together on a unity ticket?

the thing about Santorum, is he actually seems to have principles. He's just fine with big government solutions whether in your economy or in your bedroom. Consistent, anyhow.

LoL, come on SA, that was totally tongue-in-cheek

;)

In all seriousness, he is consistent and steadfast in his beliefs. I actually believe he's started coming around a little bit on some issues, even. I will give him credit where it's due, but we can't forget how much of a tool he was in the first few debates towards Dr. Paul.

I wonder if Piers will actually show the good Doctor some respect this time, or if he'll again come across as a smarmy leftist without a clue.

Larry King used to display at least a pretense of objectivity most times.

Ron Paul is going to talk sense and whenever it is Santorums turn to respond he'll say "I agree with Ron Paul. blah blah blah blah blah." It happens every debate.

Santorum is on record as saying he would (reluctantly) support Ron for president if he got the nomination.

Yeah. Santorum knows liberty is popular, even though deep down he hates it.

Anyone know of any streams so I don't have to tune in to the actual station and give this poor excuse for a journalist ratings?

Do you have a Nielsen box connected to your TV? If you don't, then you have nothing to worry about.

I'm fairly sure it only counts in the ratings if you're a Neilson family. Always a good idea to KILL YOUR TV anyway though. Or at least cancel cable - digital broadcast TV is free and has a good number of channels. And of course you can find anything and everything online.

Betcha Piers will want to talk about abortion and gay marriage. Those seem to be two of his favorite topics. He had sleazeball Joel Osteen on the other day and was asking about that.

Not anymore. They now pull DVR data from most cable providers so they know A) how many watch live and B) how many watch the show on DVR within one week of when it aired. Both of these numbers are added in with the Nielsen data to sell advertising.

I'm fairly certain my family doesn't have the dreaded box, but the fact that we have digital cable (however basic), worries me enough when it comes to ratings (see above post).

Thank you for the link to the stream Zeros.

In that case maybe Paul supporters with the capability should make a concerted effort to DVR and watch Freedom Watch and John Stossel on Fox Business. If they start seeing huge rating spikes it might be enough to get the shows on the much, much higher rated FOX News. Then again maybe not; the Judge has said some pretty subversive things on air.

Absolutely. Just make sure that you watch the DVR recording within one week of recording it, because just recording doesn't affect the ratings.

Well, he's gonna have to do it whether he wants to or not. They've been doing it to him for years, and it's probably the only way he can win.

Why interview Ron Paul if they're only going to ask about every other candidate?

The real question to ask is why doesn't Paul have a prepared pivot response to these questions.

Good point.
Paul answers nearly every question as asked. It's not in his character to reply like some others do with "999" no matter the question.

I'll watch the re-airing, but I'm wondering why Ron bothered to appear with Santorum. It'd be like Gary Johnson or Huntsman appearing with Romney or Gingrich.
