The Iowa corn growers association released a report card today, rating Republican primary candidates on their support of "corn grower's legislative priorities."
Candidates who oppose subsidies, like Representative Ron Paul and Herman Cain got "D." grades (Only their criticism of the EPA spared them "F"s. Former Speaker Newt Gingrich got the highest grade. He and President Obama were praised for their support of economically disastrous policies like ethanol subsidies.

and on trade, NO ONE is more free trade than Ron Paul, but NAFTA etc are not free trade, and undermine US sovereignty by putting American law below the decision of international bodies for actions in America, and has 20,000 pages of regulating trade to crony insiders. Ron Paul is against those agreements. Bachmann is fine with them, hence her better grade there.
Ron's better grade than her on ethanol is because he has never seen a tax credit he doesn't like, he just won't stand for subsidies.
