Already on? They're talking about the Fed and QE right now.

Ron nixed the idea of an Independent or 3rd Party run stronger than ever.
He believes the system works against it, 1 in 2 million chance he would do it is what he said.
I don't think he's playing his cards right. He needs to keep the threat of an I/3rd Run on the table.
He needs that bluff card to intimidate the Republican mainstream.
Still, I think we should realize that mainstream Republicans would rather have Obama as President
than Ron Paul.

They're going to report he's considering it anyway, it really doesn't matter what he says or does.

It's not natural to ask questions like that on all stations. This is how you pick up on organization that isn't being publicly said.

why would you want to intimidate the people that you need to vote for you? if republicans would rather have Obama, like you say, and we're running for the republican nomination.. what do you see as a path to the nomination that doesn't include winning over those republicans?

What do they want, a signed contract that he won't run 3rd party? This has gone way past annoying.

In a way, it is Ron's fault, because they would stop asking him if he used every question along these lines to talk about things like his recent polls in Iowa, the strength of his campaign, and how confident he feels that he is going to win the nomination because people are really waking up to what he has to say. They are handing him an opportunity to go on the offensive, but he doesn't take it.

This line of thinking is beyond idiotic. I'm sorry to sound so harsh but it really is. - Wake up! Realize that everything the MSM says about Ron is to diminish his chances of getting elected. When they could they were marginalizing him, smearing him and ignoring him. Now that they can't ignore him completely or smear him as obviously anymore they are forced to only marginalize. What do you think does it accomplish when he is constantly asked these questions:
-will you run as a 3rd party
-will you support the GOP nominee if you don't get it
-how will you expand your support beyond your hardcore followers
-...

If you keep in mind their ultimate goal of diminishing his chances those question are very obviously designed to make him sound less viable to the GOP masses. Same as constantly repeating he is not electable, or that he has a ceiling on his support, or his straw poll wins don't mean anything, or his potential Iowa win wouldn't mean anything, ect ect

If I was Ron I'd say it very clearly and I would throw out the absolutes rule of his: "I WILL NOT RUN 3rd PARTY, IT'S GOP OR BUST FOR ME. The system is simply too biased to have any real chance other than being part of either of the two parties. Besides I'm more republican than all of these other's so called republicans." But he did pretty good in this interview.
