On January 3rd, all you Iowa Ron Paul supporters should have a party. Invite all of your closest friends. Before or during the party, carpool to the voting area and vote for Ron Paul.

It's that simple.

If all his supporters drag just one close friend with them to go vote, Ron Paul will definitely win. However, it's unreasonable to expect all of the supporters to hear about this before January 3rd, so please help to spread the word and if you live in Iowa, don't settle for one friend. Invite your whole family. Tell them it's important to you, and in return for throwing such a great get together, all you want is for them to vote for Ron Paul with you.

Dude, if Ron Paul wins while I am there, I am going to be partying so hard. Not too hard, of course, but I guarantee it will be a fun and joyous occasion.

I will be partying as well, but in NJ.

Just make sure you party during the vote as well as afterwards.

If Paul wins in Iowa while I'm in NH I'm going to party the hardest I ever have for 15 minutes then I'm getting the hell back to work to win NH.

I'm going to message friends on fb from or in Iowa. I know what I'll say, but what's the best Ron Paul video to send to inform them and families and friends they pass it on to? I'm thinking 5-15 minutes.

That's a damn good idea. Does this apply to NH or do we need to vote in our allotted election centers?

NJ here as well. What is the feel you have for our state right now? Being a true east coast state, and the fact Christie couldn't do the right thing and chose to hump Romney's leg because of his big money. cfr ties and other incentives, i have a feeling most of NJ will be Romney territory unfortunately.

Then again, our primary isn't til June (one of the last states to go) and by that time none of this will matter. so.... :-/

I don't buy the idea that winning Iowa wins the Republican nomination. What's actually going to happen if Ron Paul wins Iowa is that the establishment GOP media will simply minimize the importance of Iowa.

I agree this is a great idea and easy to overlook.

Does anyone else think it'd be a good idea to make this into some sort of initiative and promote it with banners on Ron Paul Forums, Daily Paul, RPFlix, etc? (Maybe closer to the caucus date after the 12/16 moneybomb)

Start promoting it now!

The caucus date is on 12/3. We need to let everyone know about this NOW!

I thought Iowa was incredibly cold and snowy by December-January. Won't this party thing be impractical? /curious

You go down to the caucus. The idea still works.

I think what Carole was trying to say was that a caucus is way more complicated and time consuming than just driving to a polling station and voting. It's an all day event with lots of arguing and speechifying and deal-making and arm twisting. It's a major commitment that requires some endurance.

Gotcha. So take your party down there! Pack the food!
People will be more likely to support your candidate when you share your chips with them. :)

Excellent idea! Throw a big party for all of your friends and then head off to wherever your precincts are meeting. Have a computer handy at your party so you can look up your precinct information for friends who aren't already on the ball.

party is planned in Jefferson county Iowa. location: Ron Paul 2012 SE Iowa Grassroots HQ, 58 S. Main St. Fairfield, IA
When? Immediately after we win the vote with 50%+ and take all the delegates in our county :D (not cocky, confident, but I have work to do)

However, I party every day by making ID calls and recruiting volunteers to make calls and ... much much more.

sleep now... work in 4 hours
