Hi,

I want to put together a blog entry with a list of Newt Negatives like I did for Romney (which had tons of views, available here: http://the-opinionated-fool.blogspot.com/2011/11/mitt-romney-flip-flops-is-this-who-you.html ). I know a lot of the negatives about him, but if you could respond with negatives you know of and good articles documenting these negatives it would give me a good start to creating a comprehensive post that would do his shortcomings justice.

I personally think him and Romney are the worst of the bunch, because they are the best liars and people fall for their crap.

Have you looked through our Opposing Candidates forum, a mere two doors down?

Just check his voting record. It reads like he's a hardcore Democrat.

See if this is already on Newt's list:

Gingrich wrote the forward for a book "Creating a New Civilization" by Alvin and Heidi Tofler, who are "ex" Marxists and "futurists" that Newt calls friends. "The Constitution of the United States needs to be reconsidered and altered.....The system that served us so well must, in its turn, die and be replaced. "

I personally can't wait until Mr. I-Don't-Put-Down-My-Opponents Gingrich starts bickering with Mittens all the way to the election. They're both liars and cheats, and big government tools.

Ron will be waiting patiently in the wings.

Pushed to create WTO
NAAFTA cheerleader
Voted to create the Dept of Ed (federal)
Pushed for a national individual mandate insurance plan
Before TAARP he said if he were in office he would vote for it 'after all' (he had previously disliked it) because 'something had to be done'
Pushed Medicare D
is a liberal, and was pushed out on ethics charges after being fined something like $300,000

there is a LOT more, don't take this as an exclusive list by any means. It is almost a 'can't see the forest for the trees' problem with Gingrich. I think he launched the immigration thing on purpose to distract attention from his record.

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich was paid between $1.6 and $1.8 million in consulting fees by Freddie Mac according to officials within the organization, Bloomberg reports.
