Obama said he'd veto; not b/c he's against it per se, but because he wants the executive branch to have the privilage to determine who will be detained indefinitely (seeing as how he can already order your death, it's not that big of a deal).

This will drive me nuts and what if I have 500 chickens? Cal. state law says it is legal for me to sell the meat and eggs without inspection up 20,000 birds, same with the bunnies. I was just talking to the environmental secretary for the county the other day and she did not mention this. If the federal government intends to come in then I am hoping the sheriff is going to defend our rights...
