Huckster put his money tape back on his website. He has also set a goal of $2 million for Nov. His tape shows him at $190,000. I bet he has money tape envy.

Wrong section I believe.

but anyways. They are trying to set up a money bomb for the 15th of November or something around that date. I think they are seriously overrating there grassroots support.

Dude lets crush him. We should raise at least 3 million more by the end of the month. So since we have done nearly 360,000 today that is only 2.64 million to go! Let's do it!

Huckabee has this Nixon'esque look about him. Am I alone in thinking this?

I was reading there forum and they are saying money doesn't matter at this point.
"Huck has the message , he doesn't need as much money"

I was on the huckabee forums checking out if they mentioned ron paul's success.

They did and they were respectful about it, saying well done to the campaign but encouraging the forum to focus on getting huckabee elected.

I think a bit of dignity sometimes is quite becoming. Laughing at other candidates for being second tier isn't nice, we know all to much about it... :)

It is all well and good to mock Huckabee, but he is beating us badly in Iowa polls. Please keep that in mind.

Agreed. It's obnoxious to make fun of him just because he's behind in fundraising. Although the messages are different, RP supporters are in the same boat as Huckabee and Tancredo when it comes to media coverage and time alotted to speak at debates. Let's show a little "big tent" camaraderie here.

yeah guys... we have what we have and we're doing great. lets spend time focusing on dr pauls campaign and getting him in to that oval office... not making fun of second tier candidates..

Huck creeps me out totally.

I have never found preachers that blatantly lie to be appealing, not in the pulpit and certainly not in the White House.

I'm sure his supporters want to see him win.

I just can't figure out WHY.

Huckabee supporters have a VERY heavy burden on their shoulders....

not only do they have to raise for the campaign costs but they have the added burden of Mike's to pay that cost of "fix it" since they "broke it".... How much $$$ does it take to cover 100000 dead innocent IRAQIS??? 2.4 MILLION HOMELESS????

Theylve got to get a REALLY BIG BOMB I guess...they're way behind.

Yes, let's show some respect for Huckabee supporters... and if they ever plan a money bomb let's join in and double their goal in donations to Ron Paul that day.

Please don't refer to Mike Huckabee in public as "Huckster". There's no point in unnecessarily alienating his supporters. There are three appropriate ways to reference him:

1) Governor Huckabee.
2) Reverend Huckabee.
3) Mike Huckabee.

Agreed. Argue political points all day long, but it doesn't look good to criticize, nor is it effective. I know it's hard at times, but we really need to try to be the bigger man.

Huck's supporters are generally good Christians who believe that he believes in what they believe in. Many will come around to the RP bandwagon once they realize what Huck's history on illegal immigration is.

Who knows, maybe he does have a message that's so good he doesn't need money. If so he's not sharing it. All I've heard so far is that he's willing to stray from the three rights of Life, Liberty, Property when it suits him politically.

Exactly. You can't have it both ways. We can't complain about how everyone is ignoring and/or belittling us and then turn around and do the very same thing to a candidate who has less money than us after we experience some fund raising success. Especially since Huckabee is kicking our ass right now in Iowa.

Very true, bbachtung. My dad is a fellow Baptist minister and he sees "Huckabee...Baptist Preacher...Pro-life" and says sign me up. I'm trying to get him to come around to the Ron Paul bandwagon. We need to win some of his people over instead of mocking them.
