Next thing you know the Mayor of NYC will have a demonstration video at a press conference showing what could happen if someone tried to blow up City Hall with a forzen turkey.

I don't know guys, after the crayola colored threat warning system that DHS provided us I'd say this is the second most tangible output from that department that I've seen.

They should have just said, "Attention all mundanes: The use of turkey fryers this holiday season brings us to threat level orange. Carry on."

Well, hell, guess the government is just going to have to get involved to keep us all safe.

LOL. Perhaps, they should have a Thanksgiving day televised interruption of the parades with this important message?

I heard that some guy just bought a jug of oil for his turkey, and a bag of fertilizer for his garden. He must be making a bomb!

Its stupid for the government to waste their time with this, but these things are dangerous. I had one boil over and light up once. Luckily I had it away from the house and had an extinguisher. It was a large fire and happened extremely fast though. Seems obvious, but make sure to take precautions when you use them.

Gee, I should have been watching television today. I'll just bet the Emergency Alert System broadcast was hilarious.

WARNING: The Surgeon General has determined that flaming peanut oil may be hazardous to your house!

The Department of Agriculture has determined that causing your peanut oil to catch fire can result in smoke inhalation, severe burns, death and irritated relatives. The USDA recommends the use of corn oil, not because it is less flammable but because USDA Director Vilsack still has lots and lots of Monsanto stock.

Yes, the government is just conditioning you to fear everything. This is a follow-up to our wonderful corporations warning us about the dangers of Thanksgiving.

Add to that NBC Nightly News warning us of the danger of..... canned goods.

The lesson is clear. Don't do anything, ever, or you'll probably die.
