So what do you think?

Does the establishment know that OWS isn't going anywhere? Are they going to use the military to shut down these protests?

Will we have a 2012 election?

I wonder if Ron Paul could suggest to neocons that in order to "promote liberty" in our country like we have in others, we need the military back home so they can crack down on the "insurgents" in the way that we know works. If these protesters should happen to get violent about it, that only goes to show that this strategy is working and the violence must be escalated on our end. After all, these OWS types hate us for our freedoms and our jobs.

It is actually from 2008 and Bush- well before any of the Occupy movement or even the Tea Party got started.

The U.S. military expects to have 20,000 uniformed troops inside the United States by 2011 trained to help state and local officials respond to a nuclear terrorist attack or other domestic catastrophe, according to Pentagon officials.

The long-planned shift in the Defense Department's role in homeland security was recently backed with funding and troop commitments after years of prodding by Congress and outside experts, defense analysts said.

There are critics of the change, in the military and among civil liberties groups and libertarians who express concern that the new homeland emphasis threatens to strain the military and possibly undermine the Posse Comitatus Act, a 130-year-old federal law restricting the military's role in domestic law enforcement.

But the Bush administration and some in Congress have pushed for a heightened homeland military role since the middle of this decade, saying the greatest domestic threat is terrorists exploiting the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

I can't find anywhere if the program was still funded or not. Nothing aside the Russia Today video so we don't know how accurate that is. It is possible that there aren't 20,000 troops for domestic disaster assistance.

lol.. occupy worship authorities.. did you see them actually act surprised when police didn't arrest the guy that drove mercedes into a crowd.. it reminded me of the usual scenes of students whining at a teacher who gives too much homework.. they are hopeless. it's like expecting a ring fight and instead get a scrawny teenager walk onto the scene.. it's ridiculous. the set up isn't even right.

No, they won't. That would be too obvious.
