60 Minutes tried to scapegoat him this weekend, insinuating that he's some sort of master villain behind the scenes.

It all fits within the Democrat plan to make it look like the GOP is obstinate and refusing to compromise. They are trotting out Grover to help prove this point, the liberal media is helping. Grover is only too happy to oblige seeing as it promotes him and helps his cause among conservatives.
The people pissed about Grover being used in this manner are the Republicans who realize he has a noose around their neck. They can't wiggle out of their pledge, if they do they are sure to be primaried, and will likely lose their reelection bid.
In short Grover has done this nation a great service by his activism. He isn't perfect by any stretch, I wish he would be more openly pro-Paul, but regardless, his iron grip over the GOP is what is keeping the Republicans from folding.

Yea, but Grover married a Palestinian, a savage animal. We should concentrate on that.

He is pro-Paul?
He spoke at Ron Paul's RFTR in 2008. He also served as one of the 3 CPAC board of directors that lobbied for JBS to become a sponsor and he was always pro-Paul at CPAC until they got rid of him just recently.

Well he is pretty damn powerful. He should openly support Ron, considering he holds all the cards. Maybe there would be a right wing smear if he did that.
