It started as local grassroots protests, as a movement fighting for less taxes and less government. Now in 2011, you have national Tea Party groups endorsing Newt Gingrich for president. Newt Gingrich stands for very little of what the local Tea Party movement's goals were. He's voted for increasing taxes and government bureaucracies."

I'm not good with words, but imagine if Ron called out Newt in a debate like this. That'd be awesome.

i thought the tea party backed cain...now gingrich? thats shameful they jump candidates as much as establishment voters.

Tea Party Nation backs Gingrich and has for a few months. The guy in charge is a real asshat.
