Have ads play before, during the breaks, and after the debate.

We now have the cash to do this!

Definitely something to consider.

That way he can actually get his positions out without getting the "15 second" soundbite.

Of course, it would go a long way to making him look Presidential, and if the speech was well written and rehearsed (by him) it could really be a key moment for this campaign.

We're getting close to the wire, and the "little engine that could" approach has to evolve into a "big engine you never saw coming".
