The word has obviously come from on high that this is the next spin they're gonna try to use. Sounds like they've been in an emergency call to Frank Luntz!

Deflect the lance! Surge Forward!

I'm sure that as time goes on, Ron will simply respond with an iteration of "well, duh! Freedom is popular and it unites us" any time he's asked about he successes.

Isn't Luntz the moderator at the AEI Heritage debate next week?

Yes, he's also the Devil's spawn, one of the best spinmeisters in the business, and firmly in the pocket of the Republican establishment.

Yeah. And I bet they give Ron LOTS of time but with lots of set up and spin.

Yikes. Can't find tickets anywhere either to that debate, seems like establishment types only allowed to attend. Hosted by 2 huge neo-con organizations AEI and the HF. And with Luntz moderating?

That's one of the things I love about Dr. Paul, that he's willing to walk into that lion's den, knowing the beasts are hungry to rip out his heart, and he does it for us.

Indeed, and he always does well. With this latest poll there is no way they can ignore him like the last debate. I know he will do well because he'll do what he always does- tell the truth. However this time he probably won't have the audience backing him up, and we know the questions are going to be seriously slanted and fear based. I just hope viewers at home can see through the spin.

I'm expecting some HEAVY BOOING being thrust Ron's way at that debate. PLUS, I'm sure we'll be treated to a nice anti-Paul focus group.

I havent seen any mention of this "debate" being aired anywhere so I seriously doubt it would have much impact and a Luntz focus group seems even less likely since Fox News isn't a sponsor. It'll be tough going for Ron but this debate concerns me a lot less than the televised ones.

When has Ron Paul EVER been outsmarted by the moderators? IF Lunts try's something he is going to get the same o shit moment the FOX moderators got in 2007. This is why Paul will make Luntz give him his lunch money.

I LOVE THAT VIDEO!

One of the premier moments of the 2007 campaign. I remember cheering at the top of my lungs at the end of that question. That video should be in the dictionary as the definition of pwnage.

He just kicks royal arse when they back him in a corner like some schoolyard smartass. That is what journalism has become. High brow schoolyard bullying. May we turn the corner we are heading into or we end up in the ditch.
