oh here we go again, "job killer". That's how you get Americans' attention.

They don't care that piracy kills Hollywood and recording jobs, they just say "jobs" when it's middle or lower class Americans.

What jobs get killed by piracy? There's no guarantee of a sale from pirates. And there's no data that tells you what percentage of pirates already own or will purchase the material in the future. Hardcore fans pirate to get early access and then also buy the material or go to see the movie. People who never would've been fans get to try the material for free and then become fans and go on to purchase material or see the movie in theaters or go to a live concert.

Copyright laws hampen the progress in general. But this legislation is outright violation of our liberties and very very very short sighted.
